Your enthusiasm, openness to consider some of our out of the box ideas, and your decisiveness in making selection choices, makes our job easier and able to work quickly. Thank you Grabeins. You have such a good eye and your home was so well done I wasn't sure how I was going to create something to match! You had great input and direction that made creating a reflection of what you wanted to feel and how you wanted to function in each of those rooms come to life. I loved that you were good with trying some vivid colors. It was fun seeing the boys run into their playroom and become their own little decorators with dinasours and truck placement on their new shelving units.

Dear Amber,
I totally understand your frustration with us and your project. This was a challenging project for me and my team as well. I looked back at the many emails (286), mood boards (15), selection boards (58), and 85 hours of consulting, sourcing, and design work as well as two installation attempts to find and switch out bedding and decor solutions you weren’t happy with.
It is truly unfortunate and sad that we were not able to meet your expectations, even though we tried very hard. We dealt with scheduling and rescheduling issues on both sides as well as ordered pieces that were taking months to deliver. Our ultimate goal with every client is to give them more than they asked for or expected in their space and the design process. Design is a creative and intuitive process as well as developing a trust and connection between our client, their space, and seeing what they cannot see. Unfortunately, we had great difficulty and failed at making that connection and I deeply regret that.
We do wish you well in your new bedroom space that we were able to pull together in the end.

We were just made aware of this review! It’s unfortunate that we did not deliver to Cindy’s expectations. It truly saddens us that after 30 years with a clean history in the remodeling/design business completing thousands of remodel and design projects that we have one displeased client. Cindy’s $2,500.00 retainer was applied to accumulated hours covering on-site consulting, meetings with staff, vendors & showrooms resulting in 88 emails, numerous text and phone messages, sourcing time and revisions. We did deliver a well-planned and functional space layout of all three spaces, renderings, elevations and revisions, a scope of work and an estimate. We tried very hard to cover an extensive project load during a pandemic and certainly fell short in some areas where before this global set back and related issues we excelled. Fortunately we have an extensive list of clients spanning 3 decades that are pleased with our work, delivery, customer service, attention to detail, budget consciousness, creativity and work ethic. Many of our clients have done multiple projects over the years with us. We have been an annually awarded member with HOUZZ for several years.
