“Curtis did the design for my kitchen remodel and then oversaw the construction from start to finish. He is an absolute perfectionist and takes every single detail into account when doing a project. The entire process was an absolute pleasure. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful and completely unique. The project has been complete for a few months and every day I say to myself, "Curtis did a really, really great job in here." “Although it wasn't our first home purchase, and we had some experience renovating before, when we bought a large old historic home in need of serious renovations, we were overwhelmed! The project included a master bathroom, girls bath, powder room and kitchen. We hired Alison as our designer and never looked back. This was our first time using a professional designer and we were so happy that we did. It was just such a joy working with Alison, and thats when we realized how important it is not only to find someone that could really bring your vision/style into reality, but also someone that you enjoy working with and that made the process easy, fun and approachable. “We planned every detail of our major remodel. We had documented everything we wanted, from major re-builds to cabinet knobs. But, one item was missing ... a designer. We had already interviewed eight designers. They were all talented, but none were the right fit. Though frustrated, we kept searching. Then, a contractor gave us Natalie's name. The minute she walked through the door, it was like a breath of fresh air. After showing us her portfolio, we knew she had both the talent and the demeanor we needed for our extensive project. Natalie has been with us since day one designing every room, and recommending all new furniture and décor in our 3200 square foot home. One of her strengths is to effectively plan and utilize the space in each room, working closely with contractors when required. “Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

Their sense of style is great and don't force what they like on you, but instead really listen and present options to fit your taste and they are happy to work with what you already have. For almost every room / piece they presented both a reasonable and more expensive option and made you feel good about either choice! They have a great team and resources for any house project at their fingertips. From a financial perspective, I couldn't be more impressed.. I have heard and experienced designers who nickel and dime you at every corner for their time, with KKDL you know exactly what the deal is going to be and I felt that it was very reasonable and services exceeded what I paid for.
