Having lived in numerous historical properties since his college days, Jerry loves the old charm of classic homes and has a passion to see them refreshed, renewed and restored. However, as modern trends collide with historic craftsmanship, he loves to blend various styles together...from retro with industrial to rustic with contemporary. As the manager and in-store designer for a major furniture and design center in the area, he has worked with a large group of clients on a wide variety of projects, from residential to business and crossing into every possible design style. Most recently, he has worked with numerous clients in remodeling and revitalizing their spaces. His desire is to capture the character of the space and the tastes and needs of each client. Mission Accomplished was established to assist customers in designing their houses to make them their own, creating business environments that are both inviting and productive, and enhancing real estate properties to maximize their project potential. The business and its team members are able to work with clients on anything from "brain-storming" during a design consultation to the full implementation of that project. Mission Accomplished can work with a client "from the ground up" or simply work with the current "framework" in place. Though the business is relatively new, it is not lacking in a wealth of experience and a wide variety of resources in making a client's dreams a reality. I think the first apartment I lived in sparked the interior design creative that was inside of me. Being able to take an empty space, envision a plan, and then execute that plan gave me a feeling that I’m not quite sure I can explain. I just knew I wanted to do more of that. So, my first big job came when a friend of mine reached out to me. She was moving into a new build and wanted all 3,000 square feet of the space decorated! It was definitely a dream come true. It was a lot of hard work, but I loved every minute of it. I also learned a lot about my personal design style and what kind of styling I wanted to do. Pretty soon, with the help of quality photos and word of mouth, I started getting calls from other people to help me decorate their homes. As a designer, it really gives me a sense of joy to be able to go into the homes of my clients, sit down with them and listen to what they want to get from their space and be able to give them that. I recently had a client tell me that she didn’t really know what she wanted, but what I gave her was it. She said, “It’s like you were able to download what I saw in my mind, and actually bring it into my space.” That was quite powerful. I think my favorite part of designing is all of it! From seeing the before to creating mood boards to shopping to installing, I love every single moment. Watching it come together is amazing, but watching client reactions to the reveal are moments that I live for. Even in my own home, I get to experience my design influence through my husband. He often tells me that he loves coming home because it’s such a peaceful atmosphere. I believe that with so much chaos in the world, the one place you should be able to rest is in your home. Although we all have different styles and taste, the question still remains, How can I make this space a sanctuary for my client? That is my goal when I approach a new design project.

We believe design is personal; your home or business is a reflection of you. It's not simply about building a room or collection of furnishings; it's about building relationships. We leverage our God given talents and organizational skills to create spaces to love and be loved in. We renovate lives and connect our clients with top tier furniture and accessories. Our goal is to create a space that's uniquely yours! In 2006 Kay graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Design from Texas Tech University. Her first position out of school was working for Architecture Demarest. AD specializes in multi-family and student housing work. This position was an excellent foundation for understanding the built environment and engineering behind construction documents. While at AD she obtained her Texas (RID) and National (NCIDQ) licenses. After working at AD, she relocated to a position with Redstone Kitchens. Her work with Redstone allowed her to master kitchen design and material specifications while working directly with clients. A majority of 2015 was spent with extra freelance work for friends and referrals. It's this work that's led her to begin her own interior design firm full time. She looks forward to working with homeowners and architects in order to deliver new homes, existing home renovations and commercial spaces that fit the client's needs and personal style.

Adcock-Smith Design is a boutique interior design studio that serves busy time stressed professionals who need unique, healthy and visionary solutions for their environment. These solutions will fit their lifestyle or brand image. What separates my services from others is my resourceful and creative design approach that meets their physical and financial needs. My clients enjoy uncommon results that exceeds their expectations and honors their time frame. Our ideal client values and desires these services and has the budget to provide for their project to be successful. More about Kathy: As a young girl, I enjoyed the process of home building and my grandfather and father’s wood craftsmanship. I loved the smell of sawdust! It became a symbol of something new, a change, or a re-purposing of something outmoded. That scent tantalizes me still. Sawdust indirectly brought me to University of North Texas where I earned a BFA degree in Interior Design, and a double minor in Industrial Arts/Business, graduating cum laude. I am a registered interior designer and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers. While it is rare to obtain a degree, work in that chosen field, (for over forty years) and love that life’s work, I am that rarity! It is a daily privilege to work with my clients to accomplish good design solutions. My work covers the spectrum of high rise condos, new residences, and complete residential; including kitchen and bath design, as well as corporate offices. My abilities/attributes include seeing the big picture, having an eye for detail, providing good client communication and follow through to completion. Each project is carefully crafted to suit the requirements, lifestyles and desires of each client, resulting in meticulously scaled and detailed interiors that are a delight to experience and a joy in which to live and work. Inspirations: an element or an image – from nature, from architecture, from art, from a movie or publication, or sometimes, just something I catch “out of the corner of my eye”. New images/ideas spring into my mind. The idea is adapted, is refined, and then, a solution to a design problem is created; a spontaneous and intuitive inspiration.
