“I helm a women's networking group in New York City and host events monthly. The ladies of M&P Design Group designed the banner that sat at the end of the runway for a June fashion show. All sixteen women who were walking were 'role models' versus 'runway models.' All sixteen were South Asian, which is my brand, and all sixteen were employed in Science Technology Engineering or Math fields. I was making a statement about the jobs of the future, and highlighting the ladies who occupy them now. I asked Julia and Alex to come up with banner design which would serve as the backdrop of every photo taken. They collated all the symbols and designs from the event to-date and created the most stunning design for a runway backdrop. And turned it around in the time they indicated they would. I'm someone who is very focused and gets things done. I appreciate it so much when I find fellow lady entrepreneurs who share the same work ethic--and creativity!”

Ultimately it was Martina at Lemon Grass who we connected with, who we hired and who helped us with every step. Along the way we were able to capitalize on Martina's experience, knowledge and sense of style. She was able to help us see the forest through the trees and in the end we have a renovation which was: (a) without a hitch, (b) completed ahead of schedule & and on budget and (c) better then we could have ever imagined. “Satomi is a gentle giant. She had brilliant and sweeping ideas to remodel my outdated space, but offered me suggestions in a very ordered and unassuming manner. I felt I had complete control over the project, but with the most professional guidance. When a product did come in that I was not satisfied with, Satomi worked tirelessly until the matter was resolved and I was completely thrilled. The space is now gorgeous. She is a gem.”

“We are thrilled with our new kitchen and simply could not have done it without Liz. The layout she designed gave us more storage and counter space while also making the kitchen seem bigger than it was before. She listened carefully to what we wanted and gave us two different layouts to choose from (one that was what I originally thought I wanted and another one that she came up with - we went with her layout and are so glad we did, it’s so much better!). When last minute decisions came up during the remodel she got back to us quickly and helped us make the right decision. We are so glad we didn’t try to do it on our own with just the contractor. Without Liz’s ideas and help we simply would not have this beautiful kitchen.”

“I recently hired Karen Wolf of KB Wolf Interiors to design my dinning room. I thought she was very professional and easy to work with. She worked within the budget that was set and did it all within a timely manner. She listened to my ideas and understood the look I was trying to achieve. She seemed to have an endless supply of resources and design ideas to choose from. My dinning room looks beautiful. Not only do I love to look at it but I enjoy sitting in there and using it too!”
