“We hired TOC design to remodel our kitchen. Once the plan options were delivered and final design decided, we then hired Tania to manage our complete kitchen project. “I have never worked with an interior designer before, but now I truly appreciate how a designer can help you create the home you want. One of the things I really appreciate about Irene is her ability to accommodate your personal style and habits into the any design recommendations. Given we have a 6 foot sarcophagus for a liquor cabinet in the dining room and a lego star wars death star as a primary feature in our basement it was essential that we found a designer who wasn't going to try and turn our house into a demo home, but would help us create a space that accommodated our day to day routines and reflected the ever evolving personalities and tastes of our family. Irene has been able to help us get more out of the space and items we already have. Her suggestions for reorganizing the furniture in our living room cost us nothing but time but finally gave us the conversation and lounging space we have been trying to create since we moved in 15 years ago. Our front entrance hallway which connects our living room to the rest of the house (and leads into the dining room with the sarcophagus) was never a space we thought about, by moving a few paintings, replacing a runner with two carpets Irene sourced for us, investing in a light for a painting and a couple of small bookcases, our entranceway is now something that really welcomes you to our home and provides a natural transition from the living room to the dining room despite to very different décor themes in each room. It really is a journey with Irene, as you gradually work on the spaces that you want to transform. Some changes you make quickly, others take longer. It may take a few months to build a house, but it takes a lifetime to create your home. Irene has provided great guidance and we are looking forward to continuing to work with Irene as we continue to create our home.”

Saree's friendly, engaging personality made it easy for me to express my thoughts. She listened to my ideas and concerns and considered them in each of her design options. Saree was able to incorporate existing colours and designs in our home with the new treatments to the point that some of our artwork came alive.
