Chango & Co. was founded in 2008, born of a recurring daydream Susana Simonpietri had since she was a child, that of creating a beautiful life through the daily act of making beauty. Her husband Josh Kay joined the ranks in 2011, and one project at a time, the interior design & architecture studio has steadily grown into a fun and fulfilling business venture. Susana provides the design background (having over 15 years of experience in both residential and hospitality design), and Josh puts his music background (he’s been running record labels since he was a teenager) to good use in managing the daily operations of the business. Josh likes to say that he “takes care of everything that keeps Susana from being creative”, and Susana says “thank goodness for Josh!”… but in reality, it’s this seamless collaboration that allows for unlimited creativity to run through the office and everything they set off to do. They run their design studio from a cool little spot in Brooklyn, NY and work hard every day to make everything they touch more beautiful and the people they work with as happy as can be. Chango & Co. counts with a talented team of designers and architects working under the creative direction of Susana to make beautiful spaces come to life. Each project is spearheaded by a lead designer and a lead project architectural designer, to ensure excellent delivery and customer service.

From classic to contemporary, flea-market treasure to fine antique, interior design is a living art—it’s meant to be enjoyed aesthetically, but not at the sacrifice of comfort. That's why at Nicole Forina Home, we work with you in a collaborative process to ensure a custom interior that conveys your unique story. Of course we want you to be thrilled with the finished product, but we want you to feel likewise about the process. We believe in honesty—we don’t conceal pricing; we don’t hide commissions. And we put an emphasis on customer service—the journey is just as important as the destination. We’re providing our clients with a lifestyle and a service—transparency and support are the cornerstones of our beliefs. About Nicole’s design career started in New York City at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she received a degree in Fashion Merchandising with a focus on styling and product development. She continued her education at Kean University, achieving her second degree, this time in Interior Design. Nicole has been employed at M. Frederick and Valerie Grant Interiors. In her time there, she formed Dalliance Design, her first design company. After seven years with Dalliance, she moved on to form Nicole Forina Home. She currently works part time at Schwartz Design Showroom, an exclusively trade-only showroom. Lucy Harris is a full-service interior design studio based in New York City. Building on personal histories rooted in design, Lucy and her team create spaces that are reflective of the people who inhabit them, mingled with their own love of modernism. Lucy Harris’ process is a collaborative one. The studio takes all aspects of its clients’ lives into account to yield a unique narrative for each room. From the initial vision through to completion, Lucy Harris ensures that every detail, every accent, every moment is meaningful, intentional and beautiful. Lucy Harris’ clients come from varied backgrounds, but have one thing in common: A desire to live in homes that tell distinctive stories. The studio has worked on residential and hospitality projects in New York City, Westchester and the Hamptons and embraces the opportunity to work on design projects the world over. About Lucy Harris Growing up in a modernist house in Concord, Massachusetts, Lucy Harris was surrounded by, and given an appreciation for, thoughtful design. From her great-great grandparent’s eclectic art- and antiques-filled Federal townhouse in Beacon Hill (now the Nichols House Museum) to her great-grandparents’ Arts and Crafts summer home in Ipswich, Massachusetts to the Mid-Century house where she currently lives in Westchester’s Usonia, Lucy has always surrounded herself with thoughtful, beautiful, timeless design. Building on that heritage, Lucy continues to be influenced by many different movements in art and design, from the Bauhaus to Minimalism. Eclecticism is at the root of her designs, and her work is reminiscent of the “impossible bouquets” of Dutch Master painters, in which flowers that would not normally grow together exist side-by-side in the name of art. An avid traveler who has lived in Rome and Milan, Lucy visits Europe often for inspiration, and sources furniture, rugs, lighting and materials from all over the world. She also works with skilled craftspeople from Los Angeles to Brooklyn to realize her custom designs.
