“Elizabeth Paul Design began design work on my home in mid-July 2022 with an evaluation of current furnishings followed by sending pics of various furniture. A visit to the furniture store followed about a week later. Elizabeth has displayed her enthusiasm to fulfill the project and has the capability to understand her clients needs, i.e knowing type of furniture someone may desire. Thus far, the modern contemporary style has been the goal. A fresh coat of paint and new furniture, carpet, artwork and light fixtures in the living room, kitchen and den. The project is on pace not to overwhelm financially with a few more rooms at a later date. In addition, Elizabeth has been designing the garden/landscape as the exterior my home has minimal flowers or other vegetation. She is very knowledgable on coordinating colors and style etc. to meet a flow pattern room to room or grouping of exterior flowers/shrubs.
I look forward to continuing working with Elizabeth for as long as the project will take....photos will be provided or upon request.”

Ms. Petro was knowledgeable and definitive, making many suggestions that significantly altered the original plan. These included room sizes, locations, patio designs and complete change on the location of our stairs. We were so impressed with her work, we engaged with her again for home planning.
Ms. Petro helped us establish budgets after a thorough review of our style. She worked diligently to ensure we worked within these constraints and assembled a flow of material that would be impossible for us to coordinate on our own. Not only are we extremely satisfied with her design acumen, but her CAD skills utilized for all custom cabinet elevations allowed us to properly bid custom cabinet suppliers. “In 2008 we made the decision to sell our home and move into a new-construction condo in the city. The actual move happened in 2012, so we had the pleasure of working with Eva Quateman and her team over the course of a few years. Eva did a fabulous job of helping us select which pieces from our home to update and take with us and also finding different uses for some of our favorite pieces. For instance, she suggested we use our antique secretary in the master bedroom as a TV cabinet. Because we bought new construction, Eva helped us finalize our floor plans and finishings with the developer. She suggested some changes, such as adding a wall between our kitchen and great room resulting in more kitchen cabinet space and a formal dining area vs. a counter area. Eva recognized our traditional decor preferences, and she selected fabrics, furniture and finishings that coordinated well with our antiques to create a beautiful and comfortable new home. Eva and her team were professional, friendly and attentive. It was an enjoyable experience working with the Eva Quateman team, and I would highly recommend Eva Quateman Interiors!”

“We hired Michelle to help us redesign our master bath and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. We wanted to create a spa like setting complete with a larger shower, luxury whirlpool and other creature comforts that women enjoy.
Michelle came up with a stunning design that involved some changes of moving a wall, adding pocket doors and relocating some of the plumbing. Her plan included all the materials to be considered for the project and paint colors. We love the whirlpool that is large enough for two and has these fancy lights that change colors as the pool is on. Her design incorporated the existing master bedroom and she helped us with some ideas there also.
Michelle is very creative, full of energy and an absolute joy to work with. There are many great designers in Chicago and she is definitely in that elite group of designers.”
