“Michelle Straube is a very knowledgeable and experienced interior designer w/ an especially good understanding of style and suitable products and methods needed to achieve the desired outcome. She is self-motivated, she listens well to direction, she offers suitable options in a timely-manner, she communicates project status regularly, she schedules meetings to review selections, discuss concerns, and plan next steps, and she follows-up on open issues until resolution is achieved. My wife and I contracted Michelle initially to research and define interior finishes for the walls and floors of new home design under development. We broadened the scope of the project to involve her taking a critical look of the layout and design of the interior floor plan and to suggest improvements. This task also resulted in her coordinating finishes for both the interior and exterior of the house, including her suggesting we consider implementing some new features to accentuate the owner experience and increase the curb appeal of the home. While we are near the end of the design phase, it still remains relatively early in our home construction project. Thus, we cannot see the final outcome of Michelle’s work. Nevertheless, we feel confident that Michelle’s suggestions resulted in some great improvements to the original design of the house. The results of her design coordination efforts appear to be wonderful. We believe they will result in a tasteful and uniform design for both the interior and exterior of our home that will stand the test of time. The bottom line here is that we think Michelle is a great interior designer. Given the chance, we gladly work with her again. She should be on everyone’s short list of designers to consider for their residential project.”
