“We recently moved to Edgewood Summit, and wanting a less stressful move, they recommended Dave Cooper. He had decorated the card room as well as some of the common restrooms, which were quite lovely. We contacted Dave and he came over immediately. Because we were making a lot of updates to our apartment, from adding a more modern kitchen, crown molding and hardwood flooring, we told him we wanted a classy appearance but also a warm/fuzzy feeling. We also indicated to him that time really wasn't an issue, as the updates to the apartment would take some time. Since this would ultimately be our last move, we decided to order new furniture for the bedroom and living room and a new desk in the office. We wanted to bring our own pictures and art, and Dave said that he would incorporate all of our pictures and art into our apartment. Over a course of several weeks he brought over fabric pieces, and showed us lots of pictures of furniture that he had in mind for our apartment. Once we decided on the fabric and furniture pieces, Dave took control of everything that was within his control. Dave was so energetic and optimistic about decorating our apartment, that we felt very comfortable just letting him work his magic. He kept us updated about the progress and the closer we got to the move the more Dave would get excited. Dave's enthusiasm was so contagious, that we started to get excited about moving. When the apartment was finally ready for furniture, Dave really went to work. If something didn't work, he sent it back, and replaced it with something that worked beautifully. When he was ready for the few pieces of furniture that we were bringing to the apartment, he came and took our furniture to the apartment. Then he came back for our art and pictures. When he was finally ready for the great reveal, he called and we went right over. We walked through our front door, and "Wow", we were absolutely blown away. Our apartment was beautiful. Dave had staged our furniture, and we felt a warmth of color throughout the apartment. Dave had incorporated all of the colors in our pictures and art, and there seemed to be a natural flow throughout the apartment. Dave made us feel like we had finally come home. I would highly recommend hiring Dave for any move a person might be contemplating, because he is a great decorator, and his enthusiasm is contagious.”
