“When I first moved to Juneau, I was a fish out of water. A well trained and experienced Interior Designer from Los Angeles in a small fishing town at the end of the world. I longed for architectural aesthetics and anyone at all that could understand the importance of beautiful Interior Design. (Juneau is one of the most naturally beautifully breathtaking cities I have been in the world, but art and architecture take a back seat to weather & function. The first inquiry I had as to "who designed this space" was while dining at a local, downtown restaurant. It seemed very out of the ordinary for Juneau. Simple yet artful. Fun, creative use of materials. After a bit of research, Bauer Clifton Interiors was the answer. As I started to develop a client base of my own, I heard over and over of the experiences had by fellow Alaskans and their quest for interior architectural beauty. Most of the happy clients had hired Bauer Clifton Interiors. And if they didn't hire them, had heard nothing but really good things about them. I have had an opportunity to visit their new showroom/office. It is a sight for sore eyes. Sometimes I just walk by their suite if I need a smile. I do look forward to working with them in the near future. But for now, I am sure I will continue to hear of their great work here in Juneau, Alaska.”
