“Lisa is an amazing designer. I have engaged her services on several projects in several homes over the years and am currently engaged in a bathroom project. She takes the time to understand her client and their needs. She listens, offers suggestions, identifies the pros and cons of every design and selection. I have always been over the moon pleased with the end result and never disappointed. One time, I purchased a house before it was finished. When I finally moved in, I was so disappointed with the end product I was ready to put it back on the market. Lisa arrived, calmed me down and worked her magic. Today this house is warm and inviting and I can’t ever imagine leaving it. In today’s world, things change quickly and new products arrive on the market everyday. I don’t know how she manages it with her busy schedule and a family, but she always seems to be aware of these new products and whether or not we should be introducing them into our design. Her customer service is a 10. She stays in touch with clients updating them along the way. She is always available to answer questions or concerns. She isn’t happy until she knows her client is happy. Thank you Lisa for all you have done for me over the years. I don’t know what I would have done without you.”

“Shelley did such an amazing job on our bathroom renos a few years ago that we sought her out once again when we moved house. She does not disappoint- I cannot recommend her highly enough! She is prompt and reliable. She works closely with her reno crew, and makes sure the work is progressing by checking in with them daily until the job is completed. She notices everything, pays attention to the finer details (eg the shade/colour of tile grout) and has an excellent eye for style and colour. She is also very creative and has excellent troubleshooting abilities: she can come up with a solution for just about any challenge that may arise during a renovation. She came up with innovative ways to increase storage space, and did a beautiful job on the bathrooms, laundry room, entrances and home office of our house. She was also able to help fix a botched paint/drywall job in my daughter’s bedroom to make it look like new. I would definitely recommend her, she does excellent work.”

“We bought our house knowing that we hated our kitchen and it needed to go. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but had no idea how or if it would work in our space. A friend referred us to Grassroots Design and from the first time going through their portfolio, I knew that they would be the ones who could make my vision come to life. I was not disappointed. From the first time we met with Emma, she seemed to immediately understand what we were looking for and cared about making sure the kitchen fit with the style of our house. She took the inspiration photos that I showed her and came up with ideas that were even better than what I could have imagined. The rest of the Grassroots team were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. It's never fun having a team of contractors in the main living space of your house, but the team went out of their way to be as unobtrusive as possible, going out of their way to leave the space neat and clean at the end of every day. The crew's attention to detail and care paid to their work is so evident in the final product. They were meticulous and held themselves to a high standard of quality. I am so happy with the way our kitchen turned out and I would hire Grassroots Design again in a heartbeat. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company that really cares about creating beautiful memorable spaces.”
