“I found Catz' services online by accident. We just moved into a new suburban house from a NYC apartment and our existing furniture was much too small and 'too modern' for the house. We are also on a LIMITED budget so a full blown renovation/re-design is out of the question.
Catz' Design by Number was exactly what we needed! For one low price I had a professional assess at my space, listen to my needs and help me find pieces that would work within my space without breaking the bank. I especially love the Design by Numbers concept. I was told exactly what to buy and exactly where to put it! It couldn't get any easier! She explains all of her suggestions, so if you want to stray a bit from her design, you have some direction on how much you should stray :)
Catz was very very easy and so much fun to work with. You can tell she loves her work and that she is giving your project her undivided attention. She turned my project around in 2 days and was in constant communication via e-mail.

“I hired Leslie to decorate my condo in Florida. I say decorate, but she did so much more. She actually completely redesigned the kitchen and master bath as well as the two other baths. She worked with the contractor on all levels from demolition to reconstruction. Schedule of work included new custom cabinets in kitchen and master bath with granite counters, tile floors, walk-in showers, carpet in bedrooms, custom window treatments throughout, new furniture throughout, all new light fixtures, accessories, etc. Leslie was a joy to work with as she kept me informed of all phases of work through photographs, etc. She allowed me to be as much a part of the process as I wanted. Living 6 hours away did not afford me but a few trips to the site, but because of what I learned of Leslie and her work, as well as her work ethic, I was relieved of any stress of such an undertaking. I would hire Leslie again in an instant.”

My company is known for attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to the project and the Client. Our projects frequently need guidance and input from a licensed interior design firm, which can range from simple accessory or fixture selection, to a full comprehensive design. It has been challenging for me to find a firm or designer in our service area to call on that is a good fit. If it is my project, I am the one ultimately responsible for what vendors/suppliers/trade professionals are recommended or used- so it's a very important judgement. Prior to doing business with Defined Interiors, my recommendation for a local licensed design firm/designer would have been credulous at best.
