Nicole originally helped us in a historic home in Jacksonville. She was incredible at learning what we wanted, matching the neighborhood feel, and making the house feel just right. She took our input but didn't let us make mistakes. A few years later we moved our primary home in PA. She worked with all of our furnishings that we wanted to keep while bringing in new items to update our home. Audra is the best. She is a delight to work with.”

    “I reached out to Johanna for help redesigning my basement. It was a little bit of a weird layout and we had a fairly large tv and lots of hand-me-down furniture. Our main goals were to have a fun hang-out space, while also creating more storage and kid-friendly zone. Johanna's insight on how to reorganize the space was exceptional. She gave us lots options along the way to make us feel like we were a huge part of the process and she was extremely understanding to our budget and design ideas. She helped us with all aspects of the design: from furniture to paint colors, to cabinet hardware, all the way to where to hang our pictures on the walls! Johanna's best qualities are her responsiveness and and expertise in all things design and functionality. I would strongly recommend reaching out for ANY design help! 12/10 would use Rooted by Design for all the rooms in my house!”
