“Working with Rachel was a great experience! She worked with my budget to create a home that was sophisticated and comfortable, and exactly what I had envisioned. Most importantly, she understood that with 3 young boys the space had to be built to take a beating, while still looking good. Rachel not only has excellent taste, but she is honest and tells you what you need to hear. She listens, is responsive, and provides a number of ideas for each room. She also provided us with digital mock-ups so we could visualize the spaces she designed, which I found very helpful. The whole process was fun and so worth it -- we absolutely love our new home!”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“Although it wasn't our first home purchase, and we had some experience renovating before, when we bought a large old historic home in need of serious renovations, we were overwhelmed! The project included a master bathroom, girls bath, powder room and kitchen. We hired Alison as our designer and never looked back. This was our first time using a professional designer and we were so happy that we did. It was just such a joy working with Alison, and thats when we realized how important it is not only to find someone that could really bring your vision/style into reality, but also someone that you enjoy working with and that made the process easy, fun and approachable. She helped guide us through the process, gave us great ideas, really listened to what we wanted/were looking for, and ultimately got us to a final result that we loved. We highly recommend Alison as a designer and would hire her again in the future.”
