“After my son was diagnosed with autism, I contacted Sarah about transforming my small condo into a supportive space for his intensive at-home therapies. She understood my wishlist — a sensory retreat, running path, climbing areas, toy storage, etc. — while keeping it realistic within the constraints of 400 sq ft. Her design was amazing. Through thoughtful layout and multipurpose furnishings, she included climbing structures, a "treehouse" with slide, a running path marked on the floors, and soft padded areas. A large rug demarcated the main therapy zone, with surrounding activity areas funneling attention. The overall effect was a flexible, practical home that still felt vibrant, playful and colorful. I appreciated Sarah's deeply collaborative process. Despite her greater experience, it was a conversation where she guided me through options and tradeoffs.
