Christine was extremely helpful in generating new design ideas and providing feedback with our suggestions, she went above and beyond. While working with her, she created numerous watercolor and computer-generated sketches, both of which were extremely detailed and depicted every aspect of the rooms. She is lovely to work with, efficient with her drawings, diligent, and responsive to every single detail. “I have been working with Jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage since 2011. I had been a faithful blog reader (http://theoldpaintedcottage.com/) and admirer of her style for a long time before getting the courage to contact her to see if she would agree to a design consultation to help me revamp my living room. My husband and I had recently moved into a 1960's ranch - that still looked like it was from the 1960s! One of the most amazing things about Jennifer is that she patiently taught me many interior design secrets that I never knew but have since been able to apply to my whole home (e.g., hanging drapes higher than the top of the window, displaying décor items in threes, adding pops of complementary color, etc.) Needless to say, it is 2014 and Jennifer has let me hire her to design almost every room in my house! Since 2011, I’ve had two babies and she helped me design both nurseries. Jennifer also helped me revamp my master bedroom, TV room, and the sunroom! Currently, we are doing a whole house consult on a little lake cabin my husband and I recently purchased. Overall, Jennifer is a consummate professional, her fees are ridiculously reasonable, and she is able to “get into a space” and transform it simply by looking at before photos. Jennifer is a gem!
