Interior Designers & House Decorators Near Swartz Bay

“worked with Ami McKay and PURE Design 22 years ago, and given how selective (okay, picky) I am about how my home looks and feels, hiring PURE Design as my interior designer was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Ami and her team bring an incredible level of professionalism that makes the whole interior design and home renovation process, from start to finish, uncomplicated, seamless, and FUN. Working with Ami is effortless. She listens, really listens, and somehow, almost instantly, understands exactly what you’re hoping for. There’s also such a timeless quality to PURE’s work. After all these years, friends still comment on how warm and inviting my home feels, and the best part is, I still love it just as much as I did when it was first completed. Now that I’ve decided to expand, choosing who to trust again was simple. Ami got it right the first time. HC”

“We worked with SGDI on the interior design of our forever home in Steveston, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We provided the SGDI team with inspiration images of what we were hoping to achieve, and they did an amazing job of pulling out the elements we loved most while elevating them with a fresh, thoughtful perspective that felt both unique and timeless. Beyond their incredible eye for design, we were consistently impressed by the team’s strong technical knowledge, which made a huge difference throughout the build process. Communication with Stephanie, our primary designer, as well as the rest of the SGDI team, was excellent across the board. We truly appreciated their responsiveness to all of our questions and felt well supported at every stage of the project. Our favourite space in the home is our kitchen/great room. We spend so much time in this space, and we are so grateful for how beautiful and thoughtfully designed it is. Visually, it incorporates everything we wanted without having to sacrifice function. We would highly recommend SGDI to anyone looking to build or renovate. Their knowledge and ability to take an idea and turn it into something beautiful and personal is unmatched. Beyond that, the entire team is simply wonderful to work with, which made the process far more seamless than we ever thought possible.”

“If you want your space to be a masterpiece, then hire Form Collective!! Lauren and her team designed my living room, dining room, and hallway. They will most certainly be hired to design the rest of my house, as I am now fully aware of the value, knowledge, expertise, and creativity that interior designers bring to the table. Being a new homeowner is stressful and overwhelming, I had no idea which way to turn. I had a million ideas of what I wanted to do with the space but none of it made any sense. It was such a relief and comfort to have Form Collective guide the way for me. I was given lots of time to buy each design piece and the space came together after about a year. Lauren and Josephina are friendly, intelligent, talented, and highly professional ladies who have a keen eye for style, form, and function. They will listen to your ideas and come up with a design that will blow your mind. Throughout the design process, it was very clear to me that Lauren and Josephina knew what they were doing. Each piece or form was thought of carefully and placed with precision to maximize function. It almost felt as if they understood the vision in my head of what I wanted the space to look like - glittery, shimmery, gorgeous, modern, sleek, dramatic, and spectacular; however, I did not have the skills to articulate that vision or bring it to life, while Form Collective clearly did!! The final product turned out to be not only beautiful and unique but functional. In the end, I trusted them more than I trusted myself.”
