“I hired Talie Jane to recommend and build a plan to upgrade a luxury condo unit that was 9 years old. The thoughtfulness put into the plan was exceptional. The firm made suggestions utilizing some existing items as I requested and incorporated them with brilliant new changes resulting in a perfect meld of old and new. Additionally the firm dealt wonderfully with the spacial limitations of a high rise condo utilizing the existing space in ways I never thought about. Hiring them resulted in a much more enjoyable, functional and comfortable space that fit my budget and needs.”

She found things and had ideas that were just beyond my expectations, a real pro at visualizing and putting fabrics and things together. She worked with several things we wanted to keep and merged it all beautifully. The rooms look amazing now! We are so happy with her work!”

“My adult daughter and I moved from North Texas to South Reno last August during the supply chain challenge. After numerous delays in shipping and cancellations, I contacted Mindful Designs and Leslie Pence was assigned to our project! Leslie asked us to give her our main objective! Color was number one! No grays or neutrals for us! She quickly went to work to transform our apartment into a bright, energetic and very comfortable space! Her talent and professional attitude make her a joy !”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“I initially found Chloe through her instagram account @boxwoodavenue. I could tell right away from her photos that she has impeccable taste and would be exactly who I needed to help bring my vision to life. She has helped me with several areas of my home including complete remodels of my kitchen and second bath and I am so thrilled with how they have turned out. She has also helped me with smaller jobs like design and furniture choices in my family room and office areas which have also turned out so beautifully. I love how she presents her designs which include 3-d renderings that make it easier to see how things will look when they are done. I wanted to be involved in the design process and she was so great about including me. When choosing finishes like faucets, tile, furniture, etc. she gave me a choice of 3 different options that would all work beautifully and then I could choose the one that I loved the most. She was so great at sourcing materials for me and even helped me get a quartz slab for the kitchen that I had fallen in love with, but that wasn't available locally. I would absolutely hire Chloe in the future for any of my design needs and would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family. People constantly remark about how beautiful our house is when they visit and I know its thanks to her!”

“I just want to thank Nomad Cºllective for designing and turning my bedroom to a comfy, peaceful and beautiful room. Everything they chose in the room is a piece of art. The French door for the room blowed my mind. I loved the headboard and the 2 Mediterranean armchairs , the fan they chose , the rug over the wooden floor , the plants , the light and more. I’m speechless and I’m planning to let them Do the rest of the house. I love my room sooooo much. Thanks , excellent job”

“I found this company on Houzz while looking for an interior designer for my house in Lake Tahoe. After seeing their work I hired them. They and I brainstormed on a concept blending the lake and natural elements of the area. What they came up with blew me away. Granted, I am not too sophisticated with design, but their color schemes, design styles, art work, and detail oriented finishing touches left me in awe. They are friendly to work with, on time and within the budget. Highly recommended.”

“Back in 2014, I started the building my dream home in Nevada and I was very fortunate to hire the services of Interior Motives. I relied heavily on the Interior Motives team (Sam, Joyce and Jennifer) to help me to help me identify all the necessary items required to complete my home including all the furniture. They are very knowledgeable of all the different options required, have a great feel for the Tahoe area and offer top notch professional services.
