Lighting Designers in Wilmington

“We had an amazing experience working with Benavides Design House on our kitchen design and first-floor renovation. Kristen, Oscar, and their entire team were wonderful to work with from start to finish. What truly sets them apart is their exceptional customer service and the time they take to listen to their clients. They genuinely cared about understanding my vision and incorporating the details that mattered to me. Rather than offering a standard design, they elevated my ideas to create spaces that feel unique, thoughtful, and truly our own. Our kitchen turned out beautiful, with the high-end look and feel we wanted while still reflecting our personal style. Their attention to detail, creativity, and ability to bring a vision to life made all the difference. The same care went into our second-floor renovation, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Kristen, Oscar, and the entire team made us feel heard, valued, and supported throughout the process. Their professionalism, design expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. I highly recommend Benavides Design House to anyone looking for a team that combines exceptional design talent with outstanding customer service. They don’t just create beautiful spaces; they take the time to understand you and create something truly special. We are so grateful for their hard work and love what they helped us create!”

“Karen is the actual BEST! From the start of our project she listened and gave incredible insights that we were so glad we implemented. She was great at staying within our total renovation cost and provided suggestions that were gorgeous and on budget! I have referred Karen to so many friends and neighbors because as soon as they walk in my kitchen and dining room they are blown away by the transformation. In addition to Karen’s design talents, she is warm, kind and super easy (and fun) to work with. Now I just need to convince my hubby to do another home project so I can work with her again :)”

“MAY 2025 Working with Maria-Ximena Coriat, our interior designer, and her team at MXC Intl over the years has been an exceptional experience. We have completed multiple projects together, including the renovation of our principal bedroom and principal bathroom, both of which were transformed into spaces that are as beautiful as they are functional. Her use of materials and space is highly creative and thoughtfully executed. She incorporated colors and design themes that reflect our personal taste, resulting in a tranquil, restful bedroom and a modern, elegant bathroom. In addition to these spaces, she also redesigned our family room and living room. I greatly appreciate her ability to work with existing furnishings and reimagine their placement to maximize both flow and functionality, making our home more comfortable and enjoyable for our large family. C. Piasecki June 2026: The last year my husband and I have been planning a renovation to our home. Having previously collaborated with her on our home, when it came time to reimagine the space and an addition, there was no question who we wanted Maria-Ximena Coriat- MXC Intl and her team by our side. This project has been a major undertaking for my husband and me — including a kitchen expansion, a new side entrance with a mudroom, and a brand-new garage with a guest apartment above it. From the very beginning, she understood our vision and helped bring our dream addition to life with creativity, organization, and attention to detail. What could have easily felt overwhelming became much more manageable thanks to the weekly meetings with her and her team. Their communication, guidance, and thoughtful planning kept the project moving smoothly and made us feel supported every step of the way. She has an incredible ability to balance functionality and beauty while truly listening to how we live as a family. We are so grateful for her dedication, professionalism, and talent, and we cannot wait to enjoy these beautiful new spaces for years to come. C. Piasecki Haverford, PA”
