“Hi hired Dana from Purple Bike after a long search for designers when my family and I moved from Atlanta to Greensboro. I had worked with a designer before, so I knew what I was looking for. We were essentially starting from scratch having sold most of our big furniture prior to the move, so it was a large project (nearly the whole house). Dana went beyond my expectations. She was open, creative, smart and we meshed easily. She took my input, our conversations and all the questions from her questionnaire new clients have to fill out and gave us exactly what we were looking for, in initial design concepts and our end result. My style is a blend of several and Dana helped us pick the perfect pieces within our budget. She never pushed for more expensive or for a certain vendor or store. She never overruled if I had my heart set on something, but she always told me what she thought (and she was right pretty much all the time anyway). She turned me on to stores I never knew existed and sourced things for us from all over. Her fees were reasonable, well worth it. I know I drove her nuts, but she was always responsive, sweet and helpful. She pushed me to consider unique parings of things, paint colors, etc. I wouldn't have thought about and the result is a home that is "us." I love my new home, my boys love their new rooms and we get soo many comments from people who visit about how warm and cozy the house is. And the best part is, everything is comfortable, not just pretty. I will be sad when we're all done. I consider her a friend now. Thanks so much, Dana! :)”
