About Us

Abby Richardson, Leed AP has her own interior practice AbbyElle Style. She is a designer working and residing in NYC. She also works on projects in Dallas, TX. While classically trained as an architect, has focused her passion on interiors. Abby has extensive experience with both residential and commercial design ranging from brownstone renovations, loft office interiors, as well as retail interiors. She loves taking on a range of projects and has worked on varying different scales. Everything from rearranging existing furniture to create a better spatial layout to interior gut renovations. She is excited to see people's spaces transform their daily lives. She has taught interior design and architecture studios as well at Parsons The New School.

It was great working with Abby on our apartment. Approachable, responsive and easygoing, she designed two custom millwork projects in the living room. Her contacts within the industry were invaluable, too, since it made hiring a trusted contractor, millworker and wallpaper installer so much easier than looking for them ourselves.

We did a complete renovation of our Brooklyn brownstone (featured above) and Abby not only designed the space, but also decorated it. We trusted her vision and we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. She not only worked within our budget, but always gave us numerous options and price ranges to choose from. My husband and I worked with Abby on this project for over two years and she remained patient and enthusiastic throughout. She guided us through the entire process and worked closely with our architect and contractor. Abby is a true visionary and I honestly feel lost when I now have to make a home decorating decision without her!!! I would highly recommend her and jump at the chance to work with her again. Thank you Abby!!!

Abby did a fantastic job designing the roof deck for the building I live in. There were extensive budgetary and safety restrictions but she managed to come up with a design and furniture that exceeded expectations for a great price. Everything still looks great to this day. I'm glad she's the one that designed the project.

Commented: Back wall?It's actually not paint, but a wall fabric made by Maharam. It's applied similarly like wallpaper. Contact your interior designer for access to trade only wallpapers/wall fabrics.
