We used Abode Real Living for multiple rooms in our house. Eileen did an amazing job of listening to both my husband and I and combining our different styles into one cohesive look. She even added her own touch that we would have never thought of but loved. She was able to find decor that was good quality with style that didn't break the bank. Eileen went above and beyond for us and was always willing to help. We would highly recommend her for any of your home projects.

I have collaborated with Eileen of Abode Real Living on several projects over the last two years as a window treatment professional. Eileen is an incredible designer and person. She listens to what you and your family want and need. Her designs and work balance both style and practicality. It was so refreshing to work with someone who has a great eye, but is also willing to work with you. But if you also want someone to just surprise you, she'll do that to. As for our final product, it was incredible. Everyone who walked in to our house was in awe of her work, which included painting dark cherry cabinets to brighten up the room, refacing two fireplaces, designing custom bookshelves with amazing storage (it hid my toddler's toys!), painting the interior of our whole house, and lighting. She also worked with our existing furnishings and accessories, but added a few other items that took our house to the next level. You'll love working with Eileen. She's dependable, energetic, and fun!

Eileen is a talent designer with a keen eye for design from fabrication, staging, colors and flow throughout the project. I met with 5 designers and instantly knew Abode and Eileen was my choice within minutes of the initial consultation. Her ability to match her design ideas with mine has lead to an entire house re-do. I hired Abode to jazz up several rooms in our house, including our kitchen, that needed accessories, paint jobs and some key furniture pieces to make them "pop". I know the basic color palette I like but I am easily overwhelmed by the many choices in design, accessories and furniture out there. I hired Eileen to get an idea of my tastes and then pick everything out for me without me having to go to store after store and do it myself. I hit the jackpot! My family and friends have been blown away by the incredible changes that Eileen made happen and how gorgeous our home is now. In our kitchen, she transformed the entire look by painting our cabinets a rich creamy color (over our previously dark cherry) and brought in some variety in tones by painting our island and walls in hues of gray and taupe. The overall effect was to brighten up the entire room at a fraction of the cost of installing new cabinets and woodwork. It is now my favorite room in the house. Eileen has a knack for picking out just the right color and style that suits her clients - we have new bar stools and light fixtures as well as a new kitchen table and chairs that complement the colors of the cabinets and walls. We also had her redo our office space - essentially a room where our 4 children would like their books and work on the computer. Eileen installed new bookcases and shelving to hold all of our books, streamlined the look of the room by helping us "de-clutter" and added a print for the wall, a terrific rug and some pillows for color that now make the room look inviting and warm instead of the mess of clutter it was before. In our bedroom we added an cozy swivel chair, lamp and ottoman for reading before bed. Finally in our family room, we wallpaper just one wall to give a pop of color and added some fun end tables and swivel chairs to complement our existing sectional. Eileen had numerous suggestions regarding de -cluttering our existing built-ins. I would come home many days and find a new "knick-knack" that I loved or a basket to hold various items that were previously strewn across the space. She has such a great eye for detail and we have loved everything she has done. We continue to enhance and recover other pieces of furniture with her help and she will be overhauling our sunroom when this crazy weather warms up. Eileen is easy to work with, friendly, and dependable and I highly recommend her. Her pricing is fair and reasonable. We can't sing her praises enough!

Eileen is an extremely talented designer! I had a lot of ideas for my Living Room, all of which she encouraged and implemented, while adding professional insight to bring everything together. She designed and custom ordered all new living room furniture, which works well in our space and we love!! My husband had a variety of photos from our travels which she arranged on a wall beautifully. She also had a custom console table made from reclaimed wood that is truly a statement piece. She works hard, is on time, and has so many fantastic ideas. She is a gem!
