As empty nesters, we wanted to finally create the kitchen of our dreams—one that felt beautiful, warm, and truly ours. Adina listened carefully to what mattered to us, then delivered a design that far exceeded what we imagined. Every time I walk into the space, it feels like a little gift to ourselves. Our kids say it looks like something from a magazine, and I couldn’t agree more. Adina’s eye for design and her ability to make the process seamless made the experience such a joy.

I had a truly wonderful experience working with Adina Hall Design. My city condo needed a makeover after I became a widow, and I wanted to create a space that once again felt joyful, reflected my style, and served my young family’s evolving needs—all while providing a personal retreat for me as a busy working parent. Adina and her team got it — truly got it. They understood my vague ideas and wishes, shaped them into a beautiful vision, and brought it to life with utmost care, professionalism and incredible attention to detail. We started with my primary bedroom. Adina guided me through the entire process, from our first consultation to the finishing touches, helping me navigate design decisions with expertise and patience. She presented amazing visualizations at each step that made it easy for me to see how everything would come together. Every item in her selection of furniture, lighting, fabrics, decorative objects was truly special and meaningful. She mailed to me samples of fabrics, paint swatches and finishing materials for each presentation to help choose the right options. The result is a space I absolutely love—I finally enjoy being home again! Adina is an exceptionally talented designer and a true professional. She was always available for questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and ensured that every detail was just right. We chose Adina because she was so knowledgeable and skilled in her field, and after our first conversation, I had the sense she would truly listen to us—finding that is rare and she did not disappoint! Adina helped think through the layout design of our first floor, which included an entire kitchen renovation, as well as removing a wall to increase family room space. She also worked so well with our budget when we needed to modify the first floor bathroom, but didn’t have enough in our budget for a complete renovation. I absolutely love the idea she came up with for that space. Adina had a fabulous idea for reimagining the primary bathroom, making a simple change that gave us space for a double sink instead of a pedestal, transforming the space in a smart, cost-effective way. She also supported us in making bold design choices, like the Mediterranean tiles, which reflect our time living in Turkey, and a nature-inspired palette that really resonates with us. Adina helped me realize how important it was for us to bring the outdoors in through design, especially after moving from the mountains of Colorado to live by the lake here in Evanston. Adina fully supported our vision and helped us coordinate everything. She understood exactly what we wanted and helped bring it all together seamlessly. I wanted the house to feel like us… modern and cohesive. Now we have this eclectic mix that I love, and we can’t recommend Adina Hall Design enough for helping us achieve that!

I’ve always been a bit of a challenge when it comes to design—my taste is unique, and not many people truly understand what I love. I’m not a minimalist, but I can’t stand clutter. What I want is a home that stirs my heart, that reminds me of the best moments in my life, a place where I can fall in love with my surroundings again and again, and with who I am. From the moment I started working with Adina, I felt seen in a way no designer has ever made me feel before. She didn’t just listen—she truly understood. I knew what I loved, but bringing it all together into something harmonious was a challenge. I longed for the perfect kitchen but the layout of my home was challenging since it is a custom build. Adina saw the potential like nobody else and all of a sudden I started to see the possibilities that were denied to me before. We carefully chose the finish palette and all the accessories to turn it into the Chef's kitchen I always dreamt of. Since it is an open concept layout it is important that the kitchen is functional and elegant. She guided me with care and intuition—and most of all, with impressive patience. I still feel like I need to apologize for being difficult! What I wanted most was to wake up each day and walk into my kitchen and family room, feeling nothing but joy. And that’s exactly what she helped me achieve. Now, my home feels like a feast for the senses. I love the colors, the memories they evoke, and the way my old and new furniture blend together so beautifully. I love the harmony in every corner. It’s more than I ever envisioned—thank you Adina! Adina did an amazing job helping us select finishings, flooring and furniture! She has a great vision and tied everything together across each room. Adina helped with design and furniture selections for our new home build. She has amazing taste and took our vision and applied it throughout the entire house. Guests always remark how beautiful our place is. I love that the entire house feels cohesive with the design and has an elevated light/airy feel. She also selected great materials when it comes to the stones and woods throughout. Adina Hall is the most talented designer I have ever met. She is a trained architect who has worked for the best firms in the world and so she has both the scientific knowledge and the artistic taste necessary to make the space come to life. She is also a great person who makes other people feel good and you will be comfortable with her as an advisor. We were recommended her services by a construction company and the minute i browsed the Adina Hall website i knew that I loved every room she had designed. My inclination was to simply copy those rooms--which would have been the easy way out. She instead got to know my family and child and created a home based on our personality and interests that also held together in a thematic unity. So, it has the professionalism of a restaurant or hotel, but with personality! She is totally responsive to all our questions and I learned a lot from how she worked and thought about the process. There are many designers doing the job without her type of training (because they think they have taste and like shopping). They are putting their services out without the advanced architectural training, and the result is two different worlds. She is also extremely organized and transparent and we trust her completely to make the right choices not just in terms of design but also trying to ensure the best pricing/sourcing. She also has an excellent network in terms of construction team to ensure the project gets executed well. Adina has great training, talent, artistic ability, creative vision, and treats people so well. We feel lucky to have met her.

Our general contracting company worked on a project that was designed by Adina Hall. The project turned out amazing. Adina is very brave in choosing and mixing the right colors and designs to meet customer's expectations.

Having bought my first property close to family, I wanted to transform it into an urban oasis. I hired Adina given her robust design and architecture experience. She completely transformed the look and feel through our phase 1 workings which focused on paint color, door color, and flooring. After reviewing several engineered woods, she helped us choose the perfect color which set the tone for the entire space. She took initiative to order samples from various suppliers where we had the option of taking advantage of her trade discount. She chose the perfect color for all interior doors and transformed the fireplace into a magazine worthy sight. She also provided specifications for the electricians to install canned and spot lighting based on the open layout. She was even on a virtual call with the electrician on site to ensure final proper placement in order to work around ceiling joist issues. I highly recommend Adina for projects of any size or scope!
