We downsized from a large home to a condo. Working with Alison on the design and decor of our new home was a real joy. She was quickly able to understand our style and was excellent in ensuring that every aspect of the work involved was done perfectly. She was so easy to work with and was always available to check on contractors’ progress when we couldn’t be. We were delighted with the outcome and would be happy to work with her again anytime.

I asked Alison to help me with designing my living space in the basement of our home. I struggled with various elements in the space and knew I needed help. I'm so grateful to Alison for her expertise in solving all my challenges and designing a space that works really hard for us as a family. Alison helped design a layout that included a man-cave with a fireplace, office, gym, music room, kitchenette, bathroom, tool room and storage, all within 1000 square feet. Within the first 10 minutes of assessing the floor plan, Alison solved my top 3 priorities and her suggestions and what to keep, saved me several thousand dollars. I would highly recommend Alison to anyone looking for help in designing a space.

We hired Alison as a consultant and adviser on the complete renovation of our home. We were finding it challenging to translate our ideas to both the architect and the contractor, but Alison immediately made the difference - not only was there a better understanding of what we wanted, she found ways around design roadblocks. We started working with Alison two years ago, when she helped design the layout of our major home renovation project. She picked up where our last draftsperson left off, and created what our contractors needed to get going. We found she was helpful and offered advice on many things related to the renovation. Later, we hired her to coordinate the furnishing of our main floor space. Alison has a lot of connections in the industry, which is definitely a plus during Covid because many places are swamped with orders and unable to help. We had issues with other trades (unrelated to her project) and she bailed us out with her colleagues. To sum up, Alison has an excellent sense of style - she takes our wishlist and pushes it up to the next level in a way that we couldn't do ourselves. Additionally, her connections with suppliers and trades as well as dedication to our project give us the feeling that she is worth every dollar.

We hired AG to help us prepare a short term rental (AirBnB) for the summer season. We had to work under tight deadlines while being mindful of costs. AG did an amazing job. She was able to bring in some great trades people who were excellent and accountable. She had numerous ideas on how to balance the "wow" factor with the cost. Recently a PR firm discovered our listing and rented our space for a product launch of a well known technology product. She worked tirelessly to help us realize our deadlines and I would recommend you call her for any design projects.

I have worked with AG designs on several occasions and have always been thrilled with the service - Alison has lots of great ideas to share. Alison was amazing to work with! I love her style and ideas. I was building a cottage and had architectural plans drawn up. There was a lot of wasted space and long hallways. Alison redesigned the plans to make them a more practical use of space. She even came up with great ideas from wasted space such as different season closets. Alison also planned out my kitchen which is now my favourite part of my cottage. Alison has great ideas to make an amazing functioning kitchen. She offset my sink in the island and now we have an amazingly large work area to cook and for the kids to do art. I have recommended Alison to friends who have also been thrilled with her work. Alison was a pleasure to work with. She has a great eye and was amazing at working within our budget.
