Alexandra Diz Architecture

Alexandra, hands down, is THE BEST designer I've worked with! I made costly mistakes of going with 2 other much more expensive designers (and subpar in execution) before my GC recommended Alexandra, and it was the best decision to hire her! Alexandra is detailed, meticulous, thoughtful, responsive, patient, and an all-around sweet and easy person to work with. I had set a very high bar after 2 failed attempts as mentioned above, and Alexandra exceeded all my expectations. She had an answer for everything, showed up to job site ready, and knew my project better than I did - and I was very hands on already. Alexandra also has impeccable tastes! She chose beautiful finishes for my entire house and I cannot be happier with how everything has turned out. As long as Alexandra was on my project, I completely trusted all her decisions. The only regret I have was not hiring her from the very beginning of the project! That would have saved me so much headache and money going through various revisions with the city and 2 other useless designers. Don't make the mistake like I did - Alexandra is worth every penny and more. Hire her and you will realize that she's the best asset on your team!

I cannot say better things about Alexandra and her team! This was our first experience with designers of this caliber and professionalism and I can tell you, it makes a WORLD of difference when it comes to how smooth or stressful a home remodel project will be. We first started with a zoom call for them to understand our style preferences and then we moved on to an in home inspection (socially distanced of course), where they took very detailed measurements of each bathroom, shared ideas, and educated us on various aspects of style and functionality. From there we scheduled some appointments in the showrooms and we were able to see some truly ASTOUNDING 3D renderings of what our bathrooms were to look like. We were absolutely blown away by how beautiful and realistic they looked. It gave us such peace of mind that everything shown to us in the renderings was something they had found online already and something that we could actually purchase. After we picked everything out, they helped us put together the quotes with the showrooms, figured out exactly how much tiles we needed based on our square footage, and proofread the quotes to make sure we weren’t buying anything we didn’t need. Assel (Alexandra’s colleague) found one line item that was in excess and saved us a few hundred dollars right off the bat! I highly recommend Alexandra Diz as an Architectural Designer. My wife and I worked with Alexandra during the complete interior remodel of our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in Menlo Park, including new bathrooms, new kitchen and all new windows, doors, built-ins, fixtures and finishes throughout the home. Alexandra is absolutely amazing to work with! She is gentle and thoughtful while always navigating in the right direction and helping everyone steer towards solutions. Along the way, she considers all kinds of industry standards/streams and personal preferences, accounts for the existing limitations, and comes up with options that are addressing the use case perfectly. We hired Alexandra for a consultation on the overall design of our kitchen and master bathroom. Alexandra is exceptionally professional and highly personable designer. She educated me on the details of my design that helped me improve overall look and feel of the house as well as keep the preferred style.
