full service interior design: As a full service interior design firm, I keep my team and active projects small so my involvement with and commitment to being hands on with each client remains the focus. My approach allows busy clients to enjoy the design process as I manage the project from our initial contact to the last vignette styled into place. Whether one room or your entire home, I offer an imaginative, efficient and energetic design experience tailored to your lifestyle, taste and personality. My goal is exceed your expectations and establish a long term relationship we can build from for years to come. custom home design: Whether you are building a new home, in need of a full or partial remodel of your current home, or looking to build an addition I am here to assist you! No matter if you are are busy, working professional or a stay at home parent I understand you may not have the time, energy or creative vision it takes to oversee a project from start to finish. I consider it a pleasure and a privilege to partner with you during the process of building your dream home! e design: I am willing and eager to travel anywhere, but if your budget does not allow us to work together in person I offer my services via the world wide web. I will review your completed questionnaire, existing photos, detailed measurements and photo inspiration for your future space and take it from there! In four to six weeks you will receive a concept board displaying all main elements of your space including: furniture, flooring, window treatments, accessories and lighting. A scaled floor and furniture plan, focal wall elevations, fabric swatch sheet, paint and/or wallpaper samples, a shopping list of items to be purchased online and/or locally, and step by step installation instructions on how to create your space will be mailed to your doorstep in a color coordinated box, wrapped in my signature bow. Although primarily based in Pittsburgh, I'm always willing and eager to travel for a great project. I have collaborated with clients all over West Virginia, up and down the east coast from DC to the Carolinas and on both Florida coastlines. Whether you are near or far, I cannot wait to work with you!

Alisha is a very talented designer who is incredibly organized and provides excellent customer service throughout the entire process. After listening to your wish lists and ideas she pulls together an amazing mood board to get the project rolling, and the unveiling of the ideas is exciting as Christmas Day! Thereafter she handles all the difficult details with the contractors making sure the plan is executed to perfection. The day of the install is so much fun as she pays attention to every detail so the final outcome is breathtaking! My family has done several projects with Alisha all of them we absolutely love, but our favorite has been the completion of the perfect outdoor pool house. She took what used to be a two car garage and magically transformed it into a complete indoor/outdoor entertainment space, which we will enjoy for years to come.

Alisha designed three spaces for us. A few years ago we used her e-design service for our living room/study. Her creative solutions for a unique space are beautiful and functional for our young family. Recently she designed a master bath and power room. The master bath was a total renovation of an original bathroom from the 1940s, while the powder room was more of a refresh. Alisha and her team handled the all phases of the project effectively and efficiently from four hours away. They minimized our stress level and the results are impeccable. For all of our projects, Alisha listened, creatively used our spaces, and designed lovely rooms. We look forward to working with her again.

When we moved into our new build in North Carolina, I was completely overwhelmed with what to do with our main living space. This was partially due to the shape and size of the space and partially because I am the type of person that gets a lot of anxiety when it comes to picking out furniture, and it is not something I enjoy it all. So after I contacted Alisha we decided an e-design would be the best fit for us. It was a huge relief when our design package arrived, and she had taken all of our input and created a beautiful space, and I never had to step foot in a furniture store or make a million decisions. Now, when someone new comes to our house, the first thing they do is complement how great the space looks, and I always talk about how awesome Alisha is and feel so good. We had a great experience and I highly recommend Alisha Gwen Interior Design. !

When we decided that we wanted to make over our first floor living space we met with a few design firms. Alisha was the only designer that came to our home with vision and ideas that ultimately turned our first floor into a magazine quality space and we LOVE IT! Alisha is very good with patterns and colors and her design ideas are top notch. She asked all of the right questions in order to design the space that meets and exceeds all of our expectations. We really enjoyed working with her and will do so again when it's time to make over the 2nd floor!

Alisha has helped us with the design of several spaces in our home. She is incredibly creative, easy to work with and always willing to search for the perfect piece for the space. She always offers great suggestions and options in her design plans and listens to how we are using the space to ensure optimal functionality. She is incredibly professional, always timely with follow-up and maintains a high level of attention to all of the project details and installation. On installation day, she is on-site working to bring it all together perfectly. She was great working with our teenage girls on designing their rooms...she offered fun prints and colors, really listening to their preferences and making it a space that they will love for years to come. My husband and I absolutely love our finished condo! We hired Alisha from this website to help us through the process of combining two small downtown condos into one. She used the photos from my Houzz ideabook to come up with a vision for the space. She worked with our contractors and together they created a fabulous home that is welcoming and reflective of our taste. She was knowledgeable and professional bringing ideas and solutions to our downtown space. There were a few conflicts and delays with the contractors, but nothing out of the ordinary for a job this size. We went over budget, mostly due to our amazing kitchen, but when I asked Alisha to consider the budget on other things she did so. She knew we could afford what she was showing us, we just didn't want to overspend for the area. The end result is exactly what we envisioned and couldn't be happier!

What can I say, Alisha was a true find for me! I bought a Patio home in Treesdale that needed major updating. After searching the Internet I happened upon Alisha's website and just loved what I saw as far as her style of Interior Decorating. I hired her and she turned a very dated, dark, and not much to my liking Patio home into a beautiful, bright open, airy, home that I just love! Alisha is very good at visualizing, using color and patterns, and pulling your whole home together. She is efficient and keeps the cost of the project in mind when making chooses. Alisha managed to turn my house into exactly what I wanted… even though I had no idea what that was when I started the project. Having no sense of design, I was lost when I hired Alisha. After getting a sense of my style and budget, Alisha came back with options for me to choose from. For most items (pieces of furniture, fabric, rugs, etc.), Alisha came with three good options and I selected from those. This made the process very easy. The first try at designs for the bedroom was not what I envisioned. This is because I was not able to describe what I wanted initially. Alisha was more than willing to go back to step one once I was able to give her more direction. At the end of the project, I ended up with a bedroom that I absolutely LOVE!! Alisha was a pleasure to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the work she did!!

Alisha was hired to help me transition from a 400 square feetapartment to a 4000 plus square feet three story Victorian style home. As a bachelor I was way in over my head. Alisha was able to help me select new furniture that complemented the old woodwork and fireplaces through out the home. The house was in dire need of a color makeover as well. She selected colors I really am happy with. practically every guest compliments the work she has done so far. I actually keep her business cards handy for when people ask!
