Alisha Taylor Interiors

We found Alisha on Houzz the day before we were due to close on our home in North Scottsdale. We took a chance (we loved her video on Houzz and some of the pictures of rooms she had transformed) and emailed her to see if she could meet us at the house the next day. Alisha responded "yes" and that was the start of a wonderful partnership, and the beginnings of a friendship. We engaged Alisha to handle the interior design of every room in our home, with the exception of two guest rooms. It was, hands down, one of the smartest decisions we made. She brought in a wonderful contractor (Woodcrest) to work on the project with her. Alisha and Woodcrest worked together seamlessly. We don't know how she "got us" after only meeting us once before we flew back out for the all day design meeting, but she did. Having never designed an entire house at one time, we had no idea what to expect from that all day design meeting in her office. She led us through each room, her philosophy, had fabric and area rug samples for us, and drawings that brought each room to life. Alisha made the entire process easy and fun. She also was respectful of our budget and had no hesitation in showing us options, where requested. While we were excited to see if all come together, along with some of the construction that we had done, we really could not picture it all "done".. We were, therefore, astounded at what we saw when our house was finished and we walked into our (gorgeous) home for the first time. It was, literally, jaw dropping. Alisha and her team made our house a home - a beautifully furnished, impeccably put together, but imminently livable, home. Alisha surpassed our expectations. Holy cow. We still pinch ourselves that this is our home and we get to live in it. We would not think of hiring anyone in the Valley other than Alisha. And neither should you. Trust us you will not be disappointed.

A true professional. Style is more art then science. Function is science. Usually a design firm has either one or the other but rare is it to find both. Style makes it feel beautiful and science makes it work. The IBD team has both.

We had heard so many great things about Alisha from a good friend before we started our project. We felt like she would be a great fit for us. After having completed our project we can tell you that they were all true, and she met all of our lofty expectations. She did such a great job matching our style and needs up front, we didn't have to go back to the drawing board to make any changes. Everything that was presented to us was delivered to us as expected when the time came for delivery. This truly helped us knock down the time spent for us on the project which was a huge concern of ours. Having six children, she was aware of the types of fabrics and furniture that would still give us a great looking home with also keeping in mind durability might be an issue. Overall, we love how everything looks in our Loft and in our Living Room. We cant wait to finish the rest of the house and we would definitely recommend her to any of our friends and family.

Working with Alisha and Marti at IBD Studio has been a wonderful experience! Her knowledge and expertise are on point, and she provided some amazing suggestions and designs for our soon-to-be-built Mountain Contemporary Home in Flagstaff, AZ. Since this is a pretty new design concept for Flagstaff, it didn't pose a challenge for her at all. She took into consideration and incorporated several of my ideas, tweaking some, and introduced her own designs and suggestions, which was very helpful to me. They Brought the Wow Factor…. My husband and I embarked on our first ever custom home build project last year. We started with the purchase of a lot and were unsure of process from there. We hired a builder and in addition, we hired IBD Studio to help us with floor plan review, room concepts, kitchen and bath designs, flooring and lighting selection assistance. THANK GOODNESS we did!!! IBD Studio helped us every step of the way. My wife and I hired Alisha and her team to help us with the endless amounts of decisions we needed to make in the construction of our new custom home. Even though we brought her in after construction had started, (BTW, lesson learned, I would highly recommend hiring her during the architectural stage), she was still able to redesign our kitchen and front elevation at minimal added expense. Now that we are at the end of the build, I can't tell you how happy we are that we used her skills to create a more functional kitchen and an absolutely beautiful and unique front elevation. She was also excellent at coordinating color pallets and helped us pick out everything to be sure nothing clashed. She also created a binder for us and the construction company, so that whenever a question came up, all they had to do was open the binder to find the answer. We are so happy now as we see it all come together and all the colors blend so well. She has extensive knowledge on all aspects of interior design and was especially helpful to us when picking out tile, back splash, wood, carpet, counter tops, cabinets, paint, drawer pulls, etc, etc. She was there for every decision and made sure it all tied together which is why we are smiling now that we see it come to fruition. While at first we thought the added expense of a design expert wasn't necessary, we now fully believe her advice and expertise was well worth the money as we know we won't have any regrets when its all said and done. Thank you Alisha and Marti, you ladies have been wonderful!!

IBD Studio is top notch. As a contractor, we rely heavily on a designer to have an eye for detail and accurate specs. This makes our life so much easier throughout construction and saves the customer time and money. We recently were involved on a project using the specs and design book from IBD Design and we just can't express how impressed we were with the level of detail and construction knowledge of this firm. We highly recommend for any design need you may have!

We hired Alisha to create a design plan for our family room and kitchen. It was our first experience working with a designer and we did not know what to expect. We could not be happier with how everything turned out! Alisha is organized, professional, and has an AMAZING eye for detail and design. She met with my husband and I up front to get a sense of our design styles and vision for the room and was able to mesh our different tastes into one style that represents both of us well. She gave us detailed plans, proposals, and statements in writing for every step of the project. Throughout the process she was dependable and easy to work with. We hired IBD Studio after we decided to buy the house we were renting. The house was brand new, but the flooring, trim, and paint was about as standard and boring as they come. We had never worked with designers before so we were a little hesitant about the whole process in general. Were we going to get a design that we loved? Was the process going to suck? Was it worth it or should we try and make it happen ourselves? To make a long story short, I am now in love with my house and will never do any design again without IBD (In fact we already re-hired them for our master bedroom and it turned out amazing). I constantly tell my wife that I enjoy coming home from vacations because there are very few resorts that I feel like are nicer than our house. Would I recommend IBD? Absolutely. Would I hire them again? Yes. Already did. Did the project go off without a hitch? No, but if you expect a design project, with home owners that change their minds (that's you and me), and with subcontractors involved to go perfectly, you're a little bit crazy. The more important question is: did IBD take care of us at every step in the process (including the hiccups)? Absolutely, 100% yes. This team is the real deal. So in summary. They rocked. And I love my house.

Working with Alisha was the first time I had used a professional decorator. She did an exceptional job of making my vision a reality. She quickly was able to adapt to my taste and design aesthetic. She started with providing all the window treatments for our new home in Paradise Valley. She did such a wonderful job, I am having her continue to work on additional design projects. Alisha and her assistant April were professional, timely and worth every penny! I would recommend them for anyone looking for a decorator to easily adapt to their taste and make their dream a reality!

My wife and I are so happy with our full remodel and design project through Alisha with IBD Studio. As a guy, I had my doubts about whether the investment in the project, and the results, would be justified. I'm happy to say the design is incredible and Alisha brought ideas that truly transformed the space in a way that we could not have done on our own... it was totally worth it! She provided excellent suggestions and resolved issues promptly as they came. Alisha was professional and kept us informed while also educating us about the design, the remodeling process and tried to make it less stressful for us as she became our 'go-to' girl. The remodel was completed within the original price quoted and we were able to keep right on budget throughout the process.
