Chloe narrowed down options that suited the different areas we wanted to budget and splurge on in our kitchen. She works with your design "look" and makes it fit within a realistic envelope, so there aren't any surprises. I also really appreciated the contractors that she works with. They were very professional and trustworthy - we all communicated well and the job finished on time. I have recommended her to friends because the value she brings is how renovations in your home should be done. I love our new kitchen and I plan on going back to work with Chloe in the rest of our home.

It's taken us a while to write these comments and we should probably apologize for that but, we wanted to make sure we found the perfect words to describe our experience. We have 2 purposes for writing this, first is to make sure Chloe knows just how grateful we are and how much we are in awe of her skill and talent . Secondly, to help other potential clients who might be considering using Aloe. We worked with Chloe at the beginning of this year to renovate our kitchen, en-suite bathroom and to finish the basement. It was a scary process because we've never thought we were the type of people to ever go through a designer before. Everyone was pushing us to hire a contractor and do it ourselves. There are so many designers out there and we considered a few, but we are so thankful that we hired Chloe and Aloe because I don't think we could have been happier. Chloe is not that arrogant, pushy salesperson type of designer. She has a quiet confidence about her and mad talent in her creative design. She's always sure to educate you around design choices/considerations and guides you in making beautiful design choices. She is considerate about your budget, has good communication and was so easy to approach about apprehensions or questions we had. I absolutely love all the contractors and cabinet maker she hired for us! They were wonderful to work with and did such a beautiful job. Thank you Andy and Simon! In the end, everything turned out beautiful and the design and style is 100% us. Thank you for this experience Chloe!

I’m very glad that I hired Chloe to design, manage and deliver on the renovation of my 2-bedroom condo townhouse. Before even signing the work agreement, she took the time to understand the high level requirements and clearly communicated what I could expect as a client. I thoroughly enjoyed her personable approach to understand my needs, my priorities during the design phase. She also did a great job helping manage the budget and guided me through some trade offs during the process. For our first home renovation, we hired Aloe Design Studio to help us completely remodel our condo. Chloe helped us with our living room, two bathrooms, kitchen, two bathrooms, and den. Throughout the renovation process, she helped us figure out our design style based on functionality and our interests. She did a great job capturing our style in the design concept. It always felt like she knew what we needed before we could articulate it. Chloe has a talent for interior design and an amazing eye for detail. She was professional, accommodating and communicated with us thoroughly as we waited for our furniture to arrive. She has friendly and easy to work with. Every time she showed us a design update, we were impressed with her ideas. She also advised us on the best choices for appliances, furniture, textiles, and more. Alex and Chloe are very professional and responsible designers. They always know what I want and need for my space. They helped me found the pieces that I'd have no idea how to get by myself otherwise, and I love the vibe they created for my home. It was a pleasure to work with Chloe on the interior design for the main floor of my house. I had bought a somewhat older house so I was looking for someone to help me get rid of the lame "90's style" interior and make the house look chic and cool again. After the initial consultation, Chloe provided me with a design concept that showed that she really 'got' the style that I was looking for. She has a great eye for light, colour, and style. Many of her suggestions were things that seemed unexpected at first, like removing the big mantlepiece on my fireplace, removing some room dividers/decorative pillars, but the final result was way better than I imagined. One of the other reviewers said that "can't believe I live in such a nice place," and I agree 100%. I used to wish that I could live in one of those amazing photos in architecture magazines, but now my place literally *is* magazine-quality! Also, Chloe and Alex were very effective at managing the project and dealing with contractors. Despite some unexpected hiccups, the project was completed without going over my initial budget. Chloe is surprisingly handy and knowledgable about house construction/renovation herself. One of the problems I had was that I wanted to make my existing solid hardwood floors a lighter colour. I asked many other flooring contractors and interior designers, and they were all saying things like "it would be difficult, and it might look bad after" or "why don't you consider replacing your floors with engineered hardwood," but Chloe found a way to do it without ripping up my floors and supervised the contractors to make sure the colour came out right. All in all, I'm very happy with the results and would recommend Chloe to anyone who asks!

Chloe has been designing two main rooms in my house and more. It is clear to me that her work made the room design easier, faster, and elevated. Things that I really appreciated in Chloe’s work includes: ⁃She really listened: in order to make the design about what I really like and my personality ⁃She has been challenging my design thoughts, introducing to some twists, and I feel she was able to elevate the end result of the design. ⁃She is attentive of the budget that we set together. ⁃She put a great deal of research is into ordering, facilitating deliveries, coordinating tradesmen to get the job done in Covid challenging times. In my last renovation a few years ago, I didn't hire a designer thinking I could handle it all. But I was wrong. I overlooked the amount of work involved and the amount of decisions I had to make (for some of them I wasn't really sure if the decision made was right). So this time, without a second thought I decided to work with a designer for my kitchen renovation. I reached out to Aloe because I liked their style. I must say that Chloe is very professional and the experience working with her was fantastic. She asked me many questions about how I live, gave me options about how the space could be used and always listened to my concerns. Just from the initial design she presented, I fell in love with it immediately. She made a lot of great decisions for me including all the materials for doors, countertop, backsplash, handles and some of the big appliances etc.. Chloe was always on track of everything and always gave me updates on progress. The cabinetry company that she works with did an awesome and detailed job that all the doors are at the same level and have same amount of gap. Now my old bulky kitchen has become a very modern and functional space where I can finally enjoy cooking. I cannot say enough how I loved the result and how Chloe and her team changed my experience about going through a renovation. I highly recommend Chloe and her team for any renovations especially if you want have someone to manage all the pieces to save your hassles. This is my second time working with Chloe and her team on my house remodeling. Last year Chloe helped me with my living room and kitchen and I was highly satisfied with everything she created for me and our family. So without any hesitation, I reached out to her again this year to finish all the bedrooms. Chloe has a great eye for design and is very professional. I didn't need to worry anything in the process as she made our communication easy and clear, and kept me in the loop for everything that needed to happen. Although furniture delivery was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, once everything was put in place, the bedrooms became very elegant and cozy. Thanks to Aloe for helping me live in my dream home! I bought the very first property of my life in Toronto in March 2021. It is a small condo, only has one bedroom and a super tiny den. Considering I spent the most time at home ever since the pandemic, I decided to hire an interior designer to help me decorate my home as lovely as it can be. It was not easy in the beginning though, I met with several designers, but none of them gave me enough comfort to sign a contract. Things started turning better when I met Chloe. I was surprised by how quickly she understood the style I wanted for my home after the first consultation session. The design board Chloe provided me was just my dream home! In addition, Chloe helped me allocate the budget for the interior design project smartly based on my daily routine. For example, we invested more money in the working & living area as I spend most of my time working and studying at home. In contrast, we kept the dining area simple (but still pretty!) as I usually just have a one-person quick meal there. It was a great experience to have Chloe around - her professionalism and aesthetic impressed me deeply. So far I really enjoyed my new home (there is always a moment that I stare at my own place and say, "can't believe I live in such a nice place" lol) and kept recommending Chloe to other friends. Can't wait to start another project with Chloe once I get a bigger home!

We recommend Aloe Design without any reservation. We hired Aloe Design to remodel our condo unit. Our unit was moderately new but was small and lacked character. We wanted something that's modern and chic. After the renovation, the unit looks much more spacious and brighter. We had much more storage space that also served decorative purposes. Chloe was friendly and responsive. She was able to understand our needs and draft an appropriate plan. The level of attention to details is worth praising. We totally loved everything, from customized drawer knobs to the shape of our new kitchen island. We are finally able to make cake with the new spaces she had magically created. Aloe Design had delivered exactly what we wanted!

My family had an excellent experience working with Chloe. We just had our living room and part of the entrance of our home redesigned by her, and I would say she did a wonderful job. She personally booked a time with us and came to our home at our convenience, measured and recorded everything. Then she asked a lot of questions regarding how my wife and I use our space, this gets put into consideration for her final design. We told her our budget and our concern with our living room (it was too dark, not a lot of natural light) and she worked with us every step of the way from choosing a colour scheme to brighten the space, to deciding on a style of the furniture, most importantly she has contacts with reliable contractors to get most of the stuff done in a fast and orderly manner. She also went to multiple places to source furniture that fit our needs, some of the stuff did get a little delay because of COVID, but once everything was put together the living room brighten up and looks refresh and cozy, and that's exactly what we wanted. Chloe really have a talent for putting complex ideas into cohesive design plans, we could really see what space will be like after the initial draft, if we ever require to redesign our space in the future, we would definitely work with her again. We highly recommend Chloe and her team to anyone who is looking for a tailored design experience.

We worked with ALOE Design Studio to renovate our living/dining room in the fall of 2020 and it was a fantastic experience. Chloe listened to what we envisioned for the rooms and came back with designs that absolutely nailed the look and feeling we were going for while sticking to our budget. I was impressed by Chloe’s expertise as she provided great recommendations for the space and always worked to find good solutions to any design challenges that came up along the way. She is an excellent communicator and she kept me updated on the project at all times especially when if anything got delayed due to the pandemic. We had Chloe design and manage a basement renovation for us, and we are very happy with the results. From initial consultation to wrap-up, Chloe was always clear, organized, and professional about her work. She guided us through the design process to get a good idea of what we wanted, made suggestions that were in line with our needs and budget, was willing to make adjustments to address our concerns, and was always happy to stop and explain things if we had any questions. She made sure we knew what to expect for each step of the process, and always kept us informed of things such as expected costs, delivery times, work times, and so on. She was always very prompt with answering any emails we sent. Once we explained our needs, we felt that Chloe immediately got a very good grasp of the aesthetic and budget that we wanted, and as a result her suggestions were very accurate. I originally reached out to Aloe for a design consultation for my kitchen renovation and I was impressed by Chloe for her ideas and options that would suit my needs. After our initial meeting, I immediately realized that I overlooked the aspects that should have been considered for my kitchen and they would bother me in the future if I had not spoken with Chloe. So without hesitation, I hired Aloe to design and renovate my kitchen. The finished kitchen looks gorgeous and it feels 30% bigger than before that I can finally hide all my kitchen stuff. I think the most valuable part of having Chloe is that she would really consider how I use my kitchen everyday which is so important to me, and she understands my needs so well which made my kitchen serve me better!

We hired them for another bathroom renovation project in the basement given they did a great job redesigning kitchen and bathroom (upstairs) last time. Originally we were only thinking to upgrade bathroom and do not change the existing layout. However, they help us to rearrange the space to include some part of the laundry room (bigger than necessary) into the bathroom and guess what..now my basement bathroom has a WINDOW! Big difference it makes. Also I love the colour theme they picked for the bathroom floor and tiles. It fits the overall theme of the house but also adding something different. Wonderful customer service. Highly recommended if you are considering some renovation for your lovely home.

Chloe is very knowledgeable and had really good ideas for me regarding my new kitchen.Her recommendations for paint selection and combination turned out great.

I have a small awkward room wanted to convert to an massage/facial room for my clients in my home. It's awkward because it has a gaint deck sliding door, 1 closet door, 1 room door and 1 pulming door, on every wall! So we can't block them yet need to make the place cozy. I reached out to ALOE and hired them to help me with interior design with this place. They had came up with this beautiful very unique and very affordable design! It has blew my mind and many of my customers. They are over 1600km away but they are there every step of the way. Always answer any of my wired question right away. They are very bold with the colours in this project and made the massage room much better than I had pictured. And I am even an fine artist myself! To do what they do it need lots of creations, practice and lots patients. I was not a easy client since I'm on a super tight budget but they finished over my expectations! No that I have moved from my last home twice, I will always reach out to ALOE for any big or small ideas. They are truly great!

We hired Aloe for a renovation project for a rental unit/house. They introduced us into some new materials for flooring that we have no idea about before and also pointed us to places where we can find better prices. This was a very good and practical way to work with our budget which was very tight for what we wanted to be done. We also enjoy the paint colour they picked. There was a lot consideration before picking a colour and we definitely learned a lot from them and very satisfied with the outcome. During the renovation, unexpectedly we have found new water leaking problems that we had to deal with; they are very patient and accommodating to our budget changes and we very much appreciated the fact that during planning phase they have put some money aside so we will have part of our budget to deal with such unexpected issues. They also worked very well with the contractor we picked and played a big part to communicate with the contractor and ensure the quality of the work which was beyond our expectations. Overall we highly recommend hiring Aloe for your projects. They are very knowledgeable, really listen to your needs and get things done with the budget you have.

I had the pleasure to work with Aloe on several photo-shoots of their completed projects, and it was very happy working with them. The interior that they finished were gorgeous, and they knew exactly the vision that the space described and should be reflected in the photos. They are interior designers, but they have the eyes of an artist and photographer which made our communication very easy and clear. They are also great people, professional and friendly. We hired Aloe to help design and renovate the den in our condo. What a pleasure to work with Chloe, the designer for our project! She was well-prepared for the consultation during our initial phone call, and took the effort to fully understood what we wanted.
