Amanda Still, Hill Design + Gallery

We asked Amanda Hill Still, of Hill Design Studio, to help us decorate our new house. We gave her a somewhat vague request for something classical, traditional, and elegant, with a subtle tropical theme. She took the ball and ran with it. And did she ever! We now live in the most beautiful space I have ever seen!! She consulted with us on every decision, and we didn't have to do anything but approve her choices, or in some cases, choose from several that she liked. She also had an army of specialists for antiquing, wall coverings, etc. This was simply superb service. I highly recommend Amanda Still for any interior design project you have.

Amanda and I have collaborated on several projects together and it will be my goal to continue to do so as often as possible. She is not only a highly skilled professional, she is an absolute pleasure to work with. She brings award winning talent to a project and organizational skills, but more importantly the ability to listen to the client. We enjoyed working with Amanda on our project because of her creativity and talent, great organizational and technical skills, warm personality and professionalism, and ability to adapt our existing furnishings into our new home. After attending Hill Design's grand opening I asked Amanda to come by the house to help me with placing some art pieces and to see how a couple of the pieces I had admired might work in my home. I also had her frame a picture we had purchased on a recent trip. I found her to be a great listener and quite helpful in her suggestions for art placement in our home. She understood our tastes and was able to give us exactly what we needed! Also, the framing she did succeeded in making our modest purchase look quite exceptional. We are so pleased that we are asking her to create and hang a mirror in another location in our house. It will be on a wall that I was at a loss as to how to fill, without distracting from another art piece on an adjacent wall. Amanda's suggestion of a mirror on that wall fit perfectly! In my home, my desire is to create the impression that the art fits in with the style of the house and enhances it, while catering to the personal tastes of myself and my husband. I am not impulsive, preferring to purchase art intentionally/purposefully. Amanda got that and worked within these guidelines. She has helped us to find art pieces that "work" for us. Amanda is NOT high pressure. She listens to your needs and works with you to meet them. If you decide you don't like the way something looks that she has brought out, it is not a problem. This is a young lady who understands interior design and seeks customer satisfaction. If you choose to use her service, I can't imagine that you would be anything other than thrilled with the results.
