Amity and her amazing team helped us all the way through the architectural design phase of our new build to picking colours, tiles and finally furniture for our home. It has been so interesting to learn about interior design and decorating with Amity and it has been so rewarding to work with her. Amity and her team are very professional and are always in tune with what we like. They are full of practical advice, like a deep well of information! Over the past 12 years of working as a general contractor in Austin, one thing made apparently clear to me is the varying degrees of Designers in this city. There are a multitude of people who will offer their opinions about your project, but it is very hard (nearly impossible) to find a Design Company that is as thorough and competent as Amity and her crew are. The amount of preparation, detail-oriented work, and information transference to the contractor (or homeowner) is almost unparalleled. Their overall vision is well written and thought through prior to the contractors involvement, making the estimating process as smooth as possible. It is always a pleasure to work, learn, and grow on every project I do with Amity. She is the BEST choice in Austin for your Design needs!

Amity and her staff were wonderful to work with on our total kitchen remodel. We knew we wanted a completely different kitchen within our existing footprint but had NO idea how to get there. Her designer's eye for what was possible revealed options we'd not even considered, and our new kitchen is that much more modern, spacious, and functional for her input. I appreciated the give and take in the design process, and also the team's mindfulness in providing options based on our budget stipulations. They were professional and engaging from start to finish, and the end result is just beautiful!

Amity Worrel & Co. assisted us with transforming our boring spec builder house into a home. Amity skillfully listened to the concerns I had with the house and somehow turned all the negatives into wows. We had an awkward long entry hall that is now one of my favorite features of the house. I wholeheartedly recommend Amity and her team for any design needs.

Working with Amity and her team is a fantastic experience. We completed a substantial renovation of the most important spaces for a family with young kids—the kitchen, dining, living, and laundry rooms—as well as our master bedroom. I knew I wanted bold colors and patterns, and I love how Amity balanced my style with warm, durable, and timeless touches. During the thick of reconstruction, Amity was coming to the house daily to check on the progress and to check with the contractor to make sure all details were coming together as planned. It sure eased the anxiety of a house remodel! Additionally, Amity has excellent resources including the general contractor to the mobile cabinet hardware supplier to the kitchen appliance showroom, which again, just made the process smoother. After more than a year of working together, I have jokingly said that I will have Amity and Andree withdrawals. Over time we felt that they simply understood our wishes, and as a result, our trust in their professional hands has been very rewarding. Every day our home makes me smile. We look forward to working again with Amity and her team in the future.

As the owner of home in the White Rock project photos, I worked with Amity over about a 6 month time period and was extremely impressed. From beginning to end, she and her team were very professional and always responsive to my needs and requests, day or night. After the initial design consultation, during which they presented me with a variety of inspirational images, we had a clear picture of where we were going. From there, Amity and Andree made it a very collaborative process for selecting furniture, color schemes, and artwork and accessories. They made me feel like I have good taste, even though I don't! Just look at the pictures...these ladies are amazing. So awesome, in fact, that I've already hired them for another project for my second home! I couldn't recommend them enough.

We are using Amity and her team to design our home in Driftwood. She has been working on our project for almost two years now through two architects and two builders and has weathered the storm with absolute grace and a calming effect on her two clients that at times needed to be talked off the ledge. She is a great asset to the home owner / custom builder client that needs help wading through the many thousands of selections that go into a home . We discovered early on that it made much more sense to hire a professional to help save us time and money in the long run by helping us through this selection maze. Instead of us going to store after store looking at thousands of tile or flooring samples she learns our tastes and budget and then presents us with a very reasonable small sample to choose from , keeping the process much shorter and less overwhelming. She and her team are wonderful designers with the ability to work with your tastes and personality type. Sometimes marriage counselor and sounding board she is the glue that keeps all our our team working together as a unit. To be honest, I had my doubts after looking at her New York and Hamptons-based portfolio that she would not be able to design for our more Texas/Lodge/Tuscan style of home. I was so wrong and am glad we gave her a shot. I am also a real estate broker and have used Amity to consult on several client's properties regarding color, carpet and other aspects of their homes. She is worth a call to see what she can do for you.

I think anyone can tell you to buy certain expensive things and your home will work... having someone able to put together quality pieces with affordable pieces and already existing pieces to create a tasteful, put together, livable space is a special talent.... As an added bonus, Amity is personable, fun and has a great sense of humor, which is definitely important when having someone come into your home and check out your personal spaces!
