April Interiors

My experience with April Interiors has been incredibly disappointing - I’m not one to leave negative reviews but really want others to avoid the issues we’ve had with them. April is rude and has taken zero responsibility for the mistakes they’ve made, their pricing consistently exceeded initial quotes, and additional charges for minor oversights felt unjustified, such as a $500 fee to rectify a small 2 inch wall painting error. They’ve on multiple times ordered duplicate items to our home, charging us for their time ordering them and for the items themselves. They ordered a custom cabinet that we didn’t approve and told us that removal of the cabinet would cost thousands (we weren’t home when they installed and didn’t even know we were paying for it to be custom made). I’ve attached a photo of this - it looks completely out of place in our home and is not something I would’ve ever asked for - we don’t need this storage space in a toilet. This is just one of many issues we’ve had like this. Furthermore, every contractor that has visited the house on their behalf expressed severe dissatisfaction with April Interiors, stating that the issues we have had are very common place, and that April and her team never take responsibility. They also confirmed that even though they agreed not to mark up pricing, they had been doing so.

April, Sam, Erica and team were amazing to work with and the finished product (new build) is amazing. The photos of the project will speak for themselves once posted on Houzz. My wife and I asked the team to jump in and make decisions when we might otherwise spin our wheels in disagreement. We were never led astray. We are happy Clients of April Interiors!

April and her amazing team went above and beyond in every way to help make our dream home even better than I could have imagined! From the very first appointment I knew I would be in good hands with how thorough they were. We went step by step and their expertise helped to guide me through the process from start to finish. From exterior to interior to all of the fixtures and finishes they did what I could only describe as a perfect job. I would highly recommend them to anyone and if I ever need help again I would only make one call. 5 stars! Absolute perfection!

April and her team are incredibly talented and great to work with. When looking for an interior decorating firm, they provide you with exactly what you need - that eye and decorating/design talent to make your dream a reality!

April interiors did a fabulous job on our home remodel. As my husband told April, she hit it out of the ball park! Professional, budget sensitive, and a great eye for design are a few of the great qualities of this team. They listened to what we wanted but guided us from making mistakes. We have had so many compliments on our home. Thank you April Interiors!!

We used April for a 6-figure remodel of our home. Only two rooms and one bathroom weren't touched. The entire process was fantastic from start to finish. This was done during the height of COVID so there was a lot of shuffling of furniture selections due to limited stock or unknowable delivery times. Her team was great in helping figure things out while ensuring everything would still fit together.

April is a talented designer who clearly has a lot of experience in her field. However, I wouldn't hire her for a smaller job (like I did). She did a walk through of my home providing suggestions and answering my questions. April didn't reference the lengthy design questionnaire her office required me to complete, didn't provide many tips outside of my direct questions, and I never heard from them again. There was tension throughout the session and a vibe of 'this is a complete waste of my time' on her part. I can understand that, if she's used to doing large scale projects - I just wish it would have been discussed upfront. My previous experience with designers they felt passionate about meeting my home goals and seemed excited to help me see their vision for my home. This wasn't that. The fee was $175.

April is a true professional all the way. She truly cares about her clients and their needs, and is also very budget-conscious on their behalf. I have seen her beautiful work firsthand and no project is too big or too small for her talents to transform the ordinary into extraordinary. It's been a pleasure to collaborate on ideas and see them come to life. I would definitely recommend her services to make your home beautiful.

I've done several jobs for April Interiors as a cabinet refinisher. I have to say that it's just been an overall enjoyable experience throughout. April and her crew are all extremely friendly and professional. I cant express how valuable that is. when working with other trades, communication and respect are extremely important and that's exactly what you get from them. The inspiration and quality of work is top notch. Over the past 16 years in this business, I haven't seen this kind of attention to detail. I highly recommend using this company as they can do almost anything you can think of. At the same time, they do it with a smile, an eye and professionalism.

I can't say enough good things about April Interiors. April is very easy to work with, organized, and straight forward in her design detail. Her eye in design and bringing a client's wants/ needs to reality is exceptional. Her projects are absolutely beautiful and always seem to capture the personality of the client and space. If I could give 10 stars I would!

It has been an absolute joy to collaborate with April and her team on several new homes. She brings a level of professionalism and a keen eye for detail to each project. As a custom builder it is refreshing to work with someone who stays on top of each project and maintains close, constant communication. She has a unique way of meeting the client’s needs while retaining her own splashes of design sense into her projects. I look forward to working with April Interiors again in the near future!

April has helped decorate practically every room in our home. She started working with me about 5 years ago when we decided that it was finally time to do our master bedroom & bathroom. It wasn't a huge remodel, but she was great with designing both rooms & making them flow together. We've been happy with every room she has touched (to date, that now includes game room, office, formal dining, both childrens bedrooms & guest bedroom/bathroom - like I said, almost every room). She's always the first one I think to call when we are wanting to renovate a space in our home because I know she's going to come up with a great design. April takes the time to walk you through her design ideas & is always willing to modify. She does a great job of listening to her clients. She's passionate about what she does & you can see it in her work. I can't say enough wonderful things about April & her interior design.
