Stacie Tabor Muhle is one of the most talented architectural designers in the industry. We absolutely loved working with her and could never have imagined just how transformational our project would become. From the very beginning, Stacie took the time to truly understand our style and preferences. She did this in a thoughtful and unique way that uncovered tendencies we didn’t even realize we had. Her gift for vision and possibility is extraordinary—something only a true artist possesses. Equally impressive is Stacie’s ability to communicate that vision. She seemed to read our expressions and body language effortlessly, knowing when we fully “got it” and when another approach was needed. That level of intuition and connection is rare. Stacie also works with some of the best contractors in the business and communicates clearly and effectively, keeping the project moving forward and on track for the targeted completion timeline. Our home was transformed into something far beyond anything we could have imagined. Thank you, Stacie, and to your incredibly talented team!

Stacie Muhle with Artistico was so wonderful to work with in the build of our home. We could not have gone through this process without her. She assisted us with color scheme and overall design including tile, granite, cabinets, paint colors, carpet, wood floors, etc. I was very indecisive about so much and a Stacie always put me at ease with our final choices. When it came to design, I was never stressed during our home build process. I would highly recommend her for a small to large project. She was wonderful!!

Stacie with Artistico was wonderful to work with! We built a custom home completely from scratch and I would hate to see how it would have turned out without her help. She is someone who goes above and beyond and is there whenever needed. I now have my dream home and have also gained a new friend throughout this process. Thank you Stacie!!!!!!

Our company has worked with clients of Artistico and Stacie Muhle numerous times, and our experience has always been extraordinary. Stacie works closely with her clients to be sure she is addressing their specific needs and budget throughout the entire construction / remodeling process from design to completion. I would highly recommend Stacie Muhle for anyone looking for design assistance, regardless of their budget.

Stacie is wonderful to work with. We recently moved here from California, and worked with Stacie to select window treatments in our new home. I already had an idea of what product I wanted, but Stacie was instrumental in helping select just the right color and style to work beautifully in our home. And even though one of the window treatments came in the wrong fabric, she assured me that she would get it corrected. Stacie is very creative, energetic and fun to work with. I will utilize her again in the future. I would highly recommend Stacie to anyone!

I hired Stacie to help pick out tile and fixtures for a $30,000.00 master bath remodel. Wrote a check for a retainer at the beginning of the project and our contract stated I would be billed at an hourly fee, and that she would not go beyond the retainer amount without prior written authorization. When, toward the end of the project, i requested an accounting of her time she indicated that if I wanted a detailed bill she would charge me for an additional 30 minutes of her time to prepare the bill. What?? When I suggested that she should not be biling her time just to prepare the bill, she responded that she spent an additional $1400 worth of time time on the project beyond the retainer (even though this was never approved by me), and she ended with this happy thought: "Please advise if you want the detailed bill and when I could expect the $1400.00 payment if you choose to have me do this." Yikes! Needless to say, she never did provide me with a bill for her time. Not terribly professional in my view. I ended up hiring someone else to finish the project for me. Stacie's ideas were just OK, nothing special like I was expecting based on her high billing rates. And I had to ask several times before she came up with the tile ideas, which is the main reason I hired her. She seemed to spend most of her time preparing sketches and drawings of the project that were not particularly helpful. In fact I don't think the builder I used even looked at her drawings. If you have alot of money to spend, you will probably receive better treatment. If you have a smaller project, not sure she's your best choice.

Comment from Artistico:

When I read your review, it saddened my heart about your experience. I apologize, your bill request from me should have been a face to face, or at the very least made via phone call, as the chance of miscommunication thru email is always present. I work hard on being as creative as possible within the means of the project. I did spend most of my time producing construction documents to honor your request for an accurate hard bid. Past experiences have proven that the attention to detail in the preliminary design and selection stages of any size project will pay off in the end by eliminating surprises and added cost that the client ultimately bears.

After 20 years, this is the most efficient way that I know of how to do this. I felt as if I had clearly communicated and showed you past projects before we signed the retainer contract. Again I was mistaken, I should have educated you more on why the drawings are pivotal to a successful project and bid. I treat everyone the same from the subs, vendors, builders, contractors to the clients, irregardless of the size or scope of the project. I would gladly continue this conversation over the phone at your convenience.

My husband and I built our first custom home this year and to say we were a tad clueless is putting it mild! Our builder brought Stacie in to help and there is no way I would have survived the building process without her! Hands down, this girl knows her stuff! She knows products, people and works very well with your budget. If there was ever a problem, Stacie knew exactly who to contact to very quickly correct the issue. This is a MUST in the at times stressful process of building! There were many times I had a question on the weekend or in the evening and she would always respond to my emails or texts within minutes. She always made me feel like we were job #1! If I had to do it again, I would have brought Stacie in much sooner than we did! I do not regret one single item in my home where Stacie was involved. If you are on the fence whether or not to hire Stacie, do it! Go, right now and do it!! She is the best!! Stacie- thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have worked with Stacie on several projects and have had a great experience every time. She understands all aspects of the projects and does a great job of keeping all subcontractors working together and foreseeing possible obstacles so they can be addressed early on in the project. As someone not familiar with the design process, I enjoy watching the initial plan and ideas develop and turn into a very unique and classy final product. Stacie has done some of the most elegant yet functional designs I have ever seen. I would be happy to work with her on any project!! Steve Sellhorst Sellhorst Security & Sound
