As a homeowner and landscape architect in the same city as Andrea I had often heard of her throughout the community as someone who enjoyed not only the larger full home services she could provide but also her interest and great skills in also assisting her clients who had smaller projects. The success of our small project was dependent on finding, in a relatively short period of time, the perfect fabric to reupholster some chairs for our livingroom and have those chairs back by a certain date. I was quite impressed with Andrea's professional, courteous, and knowledgeable questions she asked before our consultation in my home which in turn helped her be fully prepared with fabric samples that hit the mark for what I wanted the first time we met! Andrea also followed through with her upholster to ensure we had our chairs back in time for the holidays. I would highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a pro for their next project no matter the size of the project.

Andrea has worked on two different projects in my home over the last year - the living room, downstairs bathroom, and dining room along with the master suite. She pays tremendous attention to detail, is extremely prepared, has beautiful, creative ideas, and is willing to go the distance to make sure you are thrilled with the outcome. Andrea does a wonderful job presenting the vision for your space and outlining how all the pieces will work together. I am a real estate professional and Andrea and I have worked on multiple projects together. She has a good eye for space design, knows how to make simple changes to make a space come to life, and is to easy and delightful to work with. Andea was extememly thoughtful and skilled crating the perfect look for the bathroom in my 100 year old home. Since it's the only bathroom, getting it right was quite imporant. The bathroom was a sad mishmosh of old problems painted over with morracan tile and farm house fixtures. While my style is more mid century modern and ecelctic, I had suggested a reporduction bathroom in black and white. However her expert eye was able to find the right fnishes and hardware to combine all of my influences with a cohesive look that honors the home's age and style, and fits right in with my modern decor. She also was able to help with functional needs like overcoming lack of storage by sleecting a well design vanity (splurge, but worth it!,) and hacking some cabinets to fit behind the door for ample storage. An absolute pleasure to work with, I look forward to tackling more spaces.

My husband and I bought a new home in a new state. It was more sqft than we had ever thought we would own. After the purchase was complete we hired a contractor to do a kitchen remodel and we realized there was more to be done to the house than we had originally thought and though I had an idea of what I wanted I was feeling major decision fatigue. That's when I called Andrea. She was an absolute life saver. She asked for samples of what we were sure of, asked to be linked to my pinterest boards and we had a quick meeting to go over the things I was stuck on. Our next meeting she not only picked out the 4 things (the whole house paint color, a bedroom paint color, first floor flooring & backsplash) I had asked her to but she also walked me through other pieces that we hadn't thought of like lighting fixtures, hardware for the kitchen, a kitchen faucet, a sink and stain for the wood banister that would help complete the look we were going for. She supported my color choice and want for very bold kitchen cabinet colors and picked a backsplash and flooring that paired incredibly well. She talked out every concern with me and was a gentle guiding hand as we discussed where and how to carry the theme through the house. We hadn't discussed countertops too much but when it came time to pick those for my kitchen she was there for me to talk to and again gently guided me to tops that worked perfectly with the aesthetic. I do not know what I would have done without her help. And she did it all without having been inside the new house!! We hope to use her again when we can afford to a bathroom remodel! I would recommend Authentik Home to anyone looking to refresh or remodel their space.
