My partner and I were moving across the country, buying a newly built, luxury house blind, and wanted someone to help us decorate it, as we knew we weren't going to do it justice. We found Anna on Houzz, and she was very friendly and quick to respond; we knew right away we wanted to work with her. We then started meeting in person, and Anna was crucial in helping us decide everything for our home, from curtains and blinds, to light fixtures, furniture, accessories and other decorations. Not only did she listen to what we wanted, but delivered way above and beyond anything we would have thought, dreamed or imagined. She was also very helpful and aware of our budget so that we could do as much as we could with the money we had available, and was flexible in allowing us to add more decorations as we had more money to spend. We now have such a beautifully decorated home, it's magazine worthy. If I were to ever need help with decorating again, I would most definitely reach out to Anna. Wouldn't trust anyone else in this city!!

It all started with a lamp. My wife and I were at a Home Show when we saw this unique lamp in Anna's booth. We thought we had to have it! And that led to a wonderful update in our condo. We completed our new look with a complete painting of the entire unit, some new furnishings in our second bedroom and living room, new area rugs in both bedrooms, new lighting in our kitchen and hallways and a marvelous mural in our main bedroom, toped off with some drapery panels. Anna gave us lots of choices for every room. Every selection was bang on, and our choices made the rooms turn out perfect. The trades people were fabulous! Like Anna says, "its a pleasure to work with great people". Yes it was! We were opened up to so many ideas and Anna found so many great designs. We always thought we could design our condo ourselves, the reality is, hire Anna and Avid and open up your living spaces to someone who can really make your home the wonderful place it should be.

As an upscale renovation company we have had the opportunity to work with Anna at Avid Interior Design over the last few years on several projects. Anna has great design ideas, is impeccably organized, has strong attention to detail and is a genuinely nice person and partner to work with. She sources unique details and finishes and comes up with very creative and client specific set of design solutions that have thrilled our clients. The component that I appreciate about Anna is she not only comes up with the initial design solutions, but then all the final touches like furnishings, art work and final embellishments that ultimately create fabulous Wow factor. Anna-Maria helped my wife and I with furnishing our home after a recent move. She was easy to work with and very friendly and accommodating. The focus was on the main floor (kitchen, dining and social space) as well as generating ideas for the master bedroom and paint colours for the entire home. Being that our home is an inner-city infill, it's long and narrow stature means that it can easily feel overwhelming with improper size or placement of furniture. Her design boards where great for inspiring ideas and she helped recognize potential in spaces that we wouldn't have otherwise and her recommendations on paint (Benjamin Moore silver satin) ensured that house felt spacious. Our favorite spot in our home is the nook. We would have never envisioned this on our own – two high back indigo chairs, a rustic crank table complemented with somewhat industrial bowl light…all on top of a cowhide rug (which at first we thought was a bit out of our element but we gave it a change and it’s great!). The only challenge we found was the balance between our budget and some of the design items that were recommended. As such, with a little more time invested on our end we were able to find same/similar products through alternative sources at prices that fit our budget. Anna Wurz of Avid Interior Design is absolutely outstanding to work with. Her design ability, style, organization, professionalism, creative ideas and charming personality make working with her company a pleasure! My project started as an ensuite shower enlargement and renovation, however quickly turned in to all bathrooms, kitchen, paint, lighting and will continue into a downstairs bar and furniture selection. The process could not have been more enjoyable and stress-free. I would recommend her and her firm highly to anyone thinking about a project of any scope and size.

Hiring Anna @ Avid Interior Design Inc was a fantastic decision on our part. Anna Helped us with some final design concepts for our build that was already in progress, as well as helped us with all of our interior finishes and selections. Selections was the most dreaded part of our build for my husband and I, our tastes are quite different, but somehow Anna was able to help us make decisions and selections that we were both happy with, and it was a much more pleasant experience than when we tried doing it on our own :) Working with us was no easy job, and she was fantastic. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna and Avid Interior Designs, and have her help us with any other future projects!!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with our designer, Anna! She was always easy to talk to and her ideas transformed our tired house into a beautiful updated sanctuary. We love the new space! Finding the entire selection process completely overwhelming, she was able to narrow down the options to make the process of ‘choosing’ very simple. Anna-Maria helped me out with a Living Room Design as well as paint selection, floor selection and kitchen upgrades. Anna-Maria was very quick to determine my requirements and gauge my taste, the first idea board was perfect and on the mark. Anna-Maria was also very accommodating to my budget and considered this when putting together the idea board and shopping list. The before and after shots below (living room) speak volumes, I love the new space, it feels like a brand new home.
