Everyone at Balance does a great job working with our clients to assure that all of their design needs are met. This includes coming up with creative design floor plan and elevation along with helping the client make all of their allowance selections. Stephanie is a very talented designer. She listens to what the client desires and is able to incorporate her designs based on their tastes and requirements. From traditional to contemporary style Stephanie can delivery it all. Stephanie has experience with whatever you need. Her creativity is outstanding. I have provided her with all styles of rugs and she has great knowledge about rugs. She has taken a beautiful home and redesigned it to fit her client tastes. Highly recommend Stephanie. Balance Design redecorated our entire condo by correctly placing our furniture and artwork in a "design blitz" (four hours). We arrived afterwards to find a completely new and stunning version of our former place. They also added a few items from their storefront and put together a board of items for us to purchase on our own timeline. They were able to use most of our accessories and all of our furniture, pulling together an eclectic mix of items for a modern bohemian look. Before Balance Design helped us, our place was lackluster. Now it's beautiful!

I've been using Stephanie and her crew for over 6 yrs. I started using her to pick paint colors for my new home and have since used her for furniture purchases, a master bedroom re-do and recently we've been looking for new rugs. She is very knowledgeable on the latest design trends and is very willing to find items that work with my home and budget. Working with Stephanie is like working with a friend!

If you think having an interior designer is a crazy-luxury only few can afford and that they all crank out the same look, just in a different house - THINK AGAIN. BD did am amazing, out of this world job -- they helped me take what I had, what I wanted, what I needed, and create simple looks that were VERY unique, very "me" and really, really imaginative - all while making sense and being practical. I didn't really know what I liked, I just knew what I didn't like. It took them no time at all to work with me to create a plan for the house. They used a combination of very simple "tools" I'll call them, like boards, links to sites, rug swatches, paint samples, etc. to bring my not-so-clear vision to live, then worked like hell to put it together pretty quickly. I didn't know what I LOVED until they showed it to me - and then it appeared. I (like most people) wanted my house to look like something out of a catalogue, but not a catalogue ANYONE else had seen - using a my existing stuff + cool accents + awesome vintage finds + great lighting + window coverings and rugs, the team made my house a home, and a gasp-inducing and affordable one to create. Aside from the outcome, the best part (ok, it's a tie) is working with her team - forget stuffy designers who want to impose or prescribe a certain style on you - or want to go to one store and be done with it - they really took the time to find the right stuff, even if it took a few tries to get it right. The referrals for painters, organizers, window cleaners (I'm telling you - they have the best network of professionals who do not disappoint in the usual ways contractors or vendors can) was indispensable. John is amazing - he even came every year to create the most magnificent (but not over the top show-y) christmas tree for our entry-way that will never be topped. People were always asking me where i got that, who did this for you, how did you find that? I loved entertaining because I loved my home- I was so proud of it - and it felt like it was "mine" - my ideas, my tastes and my stuff. Not all out of the same store, era or even style. I can't say enough about them - the process, the outcome or working with them as people. I wont go much longer because this probably sounds like a paid endorsement, but you must know how awesome and talented (and honest, and funny, and lovable) they are. Stephanie is a wunderkind and brings together talented people and makes IT ALL WORK like no one I've ever seen. She's truly a one of a kind - work with her and your home will be too. I moved and I'm having her come to another state to work with me on our new home. That's how awesome she is. And they are. JUST AMAZING.
