We are a general contractor that specializes in high end custom home building and remodeling in the Coachella Valley. Cindy invited us to join her team on a big renovation of a custom home that belongs to a client that she has worked for in the past. So far, she has been one of the most responsive and professional designers that we have ever worked with. She has built a foundation of efficient communication between everyone involved (architect, designer, contractor, and client) that has allowed us to condense a job that would normally take 6-8 moths to complete into a 4 month schedule. Working with someone who is without ego, and who puts their clients best interest in front of all else has been a breath of fresh air. I look forward to completing the current project at hand, and to the possibility of working with Cindy again on other projects in the future.

We remodeled our house in 2017, from April to December. It was a major remodel as we went down to the studs in every single room. Cindy was recommended by a very good friend of ours who used to have her own design firm for many years. We spoke with Cindy and explained what we had in mind. She developed a design of the whole house that included our initial thinking but also added great and unique ideas. We had a few iterations before converging. During this process Cindy would not force anything and would always present several options. Some features of the remodel are very unique, like the powder room and the kitchen tiles. People who visit are all impressed and want her number. It is modern and sophisticated but still livable with two little boys and has warmth and personality. Cindy did a phenomenal job, we couldn't be happier with the results. She was very present during construction and that really helped the process flow smoothly. Cindy also helped pick out furniture (same thing here: several options at various price ranges), art and colors (which also turned out great). We cannot recommend Cindy highly enough. If we ever have to hire a designer again, we would to go to Cindy immediately. Best.

I was introduced to Bayon Design Studio, and the owner Cindy, by my realtor when I purchased my new construction condominium in San Francisco in 2015. The unit was not complete, and I knew right away that I was going to make extensive renovations before I could even think about decorating. When I found out that Cindy not only did interior design, but also construction management, I was very relieved. I’ve never taken on a project this big, and knew I needed a lot of help. Cindy and I clicked right away, and I felt I was in good hands with her company and her expertise. She listened very carefully to what my vision was for the final product, and provided design ideas right away. Her attention to detail is very impressive. She takes exact measurements and enters them into a CAD/CAM drawing, so we had a good visual representation of the rooms, and always knew the correct dimensions when ordering any furniture. Cindy and her company have all the contacts and resources needed for construction and decorating. Whether it was custom cabinets or flooring, plumbing, an electrician, painting, including an artist for a custom decorative plaster wall, kitchen and bathroom tile work, to knowing exactly where to go for furniture, rugs, accessories and art, and exterior landscaping, Cindy has the knowledge and relationships that helped create my beautiful new home. After I closed escrow, there were many issues with my home that needed to be dealt with. Cindy took over management of these issues and dealing with the builder, and with her expertise and conflict management skills was able to resolve all problems with minimal involvement on my part. Because she has such extensive construction management experience, she knows exactly how to deal with builders, and hold them accountable for their work. Once construction was complete, Cindy facilitated and was on site to oversee the delivery and setup of all furniture and window coverings we had ordered. She is always on the lookout for additional items to add to the décor, and has not picked anything out that I haven’t loved. I trust her, and give her full permission to buy anything she sees that she thinks will work in my home. Cindy’s management didn’t stop when I moved in. She has remained available and involved, following through on all projects that were started before I moved in. All I have to do is call, and the issue is taken care of. She also has continued to help me with additional customization and design needs, and I know regardless of whatever need arises, she is available and willing to help. Cindy also helped me to decorate my home for the holidays. She did the shopping, and combined the beautiful items she found with what I already had and wanted to incorporate into the holiday décor. I was very happy with the end result, and was proud to share my home with family and friends throughout the holiday season.
