Bon is thee best! I have worked with Bon on many jobs over the last 2 decades. Bon is very client oriented & her end result is nothing short of stunning! You too will be pleased.

I own several rental properties in a resort area in Florida. I consider my relationship with Beauty and the Beach a godsend. I can draw a direct correlation between a jump in rental bookings and the design updates completed at the units. March 2022, I presented Bon with her greatest challenge yet. To take a two-story residence on the beach built in the mid-70s in all its disco, dark paneling, avocado glory and turn it into a viable rental. We did not have the luxury of gutting the structure. The goal was to update. Bon chose a "boho chic" bent for the design to acknowledge the era the house was built and placed close attention to modern comfort. The results were spectacular. I don't think I'm overstating when I say that everyone had their doubts about her ability to work the magic this place was going to need. But Bon proved to be a miracle worker! Bon did an amazing job on our beach house. She has great vision and ideas, works within the customer's budget, and takes the customer's preferences and style into consideration. We were a group of four property owners which probably made us even more challenging to work with. We now have a beautiful investment beach house thanks to Bon!

We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work with Beauty and the Beach. Bon has absolutely transformed our home beyond what we could have ever imagined and she stayed within our budget! She truly took the time to listen to us and understand what was most important in order to make our home a very special place for our family to gather. She is so knowledgeable and creative. We loved her ideas and creative recommendations. The entire home flows so beautifully now and we've received many complements from friends and family. Her design skills are not just limited to the interior but she is very talented regarding exterior treatments and landscaping ideas as well. Bon is currently doing our third project. Her eye for color, space, comfort and utility comes together in a spectacular way. She works diligently to stay within budget and time constraints. She is the best project manager I have ever seen coordinating contractors, ordering, deliveries, and even landscaping. She knows how to put a project together from start to finish. Her results have always given us an enthusiastic WOW!

Bon at Beauty and Beach did an amazing job taking a tired look of the home and turning it into something new and fresh. Bon is highly professional, has a get it done right the first time approach and is super creative. All of the work was done on time and within budget. As the owner of the property I truly appreciated the way Bon took charge of the smallest of detail and executed flawlessly.

We asked Bon to take on the project of redoing our Florida home, which had become tired and less than marketable. We are thrilled with the results and commend Bon’s excellent taste and suggestions paired with excellent technical skills (organizational and communicative). Bon is an amazing designer and project manager. She handled our rental remodel from top to bottom. Not only does she have an amazing eye for design, she has the experience and knowledge to properly apply the designs both inside and outside. She has vetted out and assembled a team of quality professionals including electrician, plumber, painter, artists, landscaper, etc. She ensures quality work at a fair price. Bon conducts the music and her band plays the tune without missing a note. She's a rock star!!!!!!!

Bon is the “Bomb”! She took our 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home...all done in black & white... often called “ museum like” & skillfully turned it into a warm, happy, inviting beach house! This was all done long distance within a tight budget. We are forever grateful to Bon Dorenkamp of Beauty & The Beach & give her our highest recommendation ever! Because, you know what? Bon was lots of fun! An absolute delight to work with! The result is stunning!

Bon is a master of her craft! She was able to rework our dated lower level including our kitchen. She designed a beautiful new floor plan that surpassed our expectations!
