Lisa was great! I talked to a lot of designers and Lisa was the only one who really understood the concept we wanted and didn't just rinse and repeat ideas from other clients. She helped us prioritize and make smart, high impact choices to stay close to our budget. Really appreciated her oversight on details and execution - something we didn't have time or expertise to manage. The team was really receptive to feedback too. Our home has so much more color and personality now! Would definitely work with Lisa and her team again.

I recently did a major renovation to my house, Lisa and team were great to work with. Explaining everything from the original conceptual ideas to all the details involved in the process. I can be a little bit overbearing at times so I appreciate all her patience. The outcome was well worth the effort and the project came in on budget. We now have the main area of the house that we spend the most of our time in built out in a way that we will enjoy for many years not to mention it will be the envy of the neighborhood. We could not have picked a better company and all around amazing team to tackle our first renovation.. We completely revamped our kitchen, tore down a wall, and gave our half-bath plus laundry area a new look. Our creative minds, Lisa and Ellen, really took into account our thoughts and the necessities of our family of six. They brought fresh perspectives to the table, making the entire renovation experience a pleasure and devoid of stress. Our project manager CC, was an excellent communicator who genuinely cared about our venture, ensuring that we were pleased with every selection, arrangement, and so on. Our dedicated team from the beginning.. The construction guys were great, and even ensured our home was tidy at the end of each day. The administrative personnel were always ready to help with any alterations we desired or questions regarding billing. The whole process from start to finish was extremely organized and we were always kept in the loop about what was happening or who would be visiting our home. This was of utmost importance to us especially with four young children around. We consider ourselves fortunate to have discovered Buildappeal and without a doubt, we'd choose them again for future projects.

When we purchased our new home it needed to be completely redone. Lisa and her team came to our home and answered all of our questions and gave us very real and practical answers (unlike many of the other companies we spoke with who were yesmen doing anything to get the sale). After that meeting we decided we need not look elsewhere, and proceeded to enter the design process with Build Appeal. Once the process began, the BA team guided us in picking out color themes, style, floors, countertops, backsplash etc.. basically everything because my husband and I have never done any remodeling before. They always picked up the phone and even visited our home multiple times to go through our admittedly dumb questions. Obviously with most big projects like ours there were a few hiccups and delays (largely due to the slowest process ever getting permits from the city) but the team always jumped on the chance to go out of there way adjust and accommodate every issue those arose. But in the end, we were very satisfied with the result and most importantly it was delivered within budget and within our aggressive timeline (we had a new addition to the family coming soon and needed everything in place). We just finished a kitchen remodel with BuildAppeal and it was an amazing experience. From the initial consultation we knew that BuildAppeal was simply different in their attention to every last detail. My husband and I were nervous (as always going into any remodel) but Lisa and the BuildAppeal team were quickly able to turn our nerves into excitement. The team was in constant communication with us throughout the process, and made the entire end-to-end experience feel like a 5-star hotel. At the end of the day, the results were incredible and we're beyond excited to show everyone we know our new kitchen. This review is long overdue. I would have to write an entire novel to demonstrate how happy we are that we chose Lisa Bell Design Group to do our home! Lisa and the team are simply all-stars at what they do. Their attention to detail, creativity, problem solving, tenacity, grit, etc. are unmatched in the industry. When you are going through a large home project, there will be a lot of things that can potentially go wrong, with so many moving parts. You need a team that can think quickly and is not fazed by any obstacles thrown their way. Lisa and the team personifies this. They can handle anything, and will do it with grace and positivity. That is what we really loved about working with her and the team. She is an artist with a strong sense of business and practicality. These are important traits when you are making big home decisions. Anytime someone comes into my home that Lisa Bell and the team helped make, they are blown away by the details of everything. Everyday that I wake up and walk around the house I'm reminded of all of the love and care that they put into it. They will always be a part of our home, and we love that. At the end, with all of the love and soul that they put into our home, we feel like we added lifelong friends that we can share great times with. We hired Lisa to design a large addition to our home that included a completely new kitchen, bathroom and family room. She and her team exceeded all expectations and we could not be happier. My wife and I have never been through a renovation of this magnitude before, so we wanted to be 100% sure of the design and our design team before we started on such a major project. Lisa listened to what we wanted and worked patiently with us for months to make sure we were comfortable with all of the details before we started construction. She learned our tastes, but also suggested so many things we would have never thought of. In the end, we ended up with an amazing space that we could have never created on our own. In addition to her design work, Lisa managed construction and installation of cabinetry and appliances to make sure no detail was missed. My wife and I both work, so we could not always be on site. Throughout the five months of construction, Lisa and her team went the extra mile to always be our eyes and ears. She even sent her staff to help us pack. Lisa and her team routinely exceeded expectations and did whatever it took to make sure we were pleased with the results. For example, when we expressed concern about how the color variations in the wood floor would be blended, Lisa and her staff showed up and spent two days hand selecting the location of each plank so it would be perfect. When construction was complete, Lisa selected furniture and fixtures for our new space and staged everything for us. She even helped us decorate the spaces that we hadn’t renovated to make sure they blended perfectly with the new space. Lisa and her team are exceptional professionals and great people to work with. I would hire them again in a second and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help on a renovation or new home.

I knew what I was getting into when my wife and I hired Lisa Bell Design Group as I have worked alongside Lisa on 6-8 other projects for a larger developer in the area. I loved her designs on all the homes we worked on and thought my wife would as well. When they first met they hit it off right away and started brainstorming different ideas about what our home could look like when done. Lisa then did some renderings for us for the Kitchen and Living Room based on those ideas. Her husband Dave took care of the construction and the general result was in a word-- AMAZING!! I still look at the before pictures and what our else looks like now and can't believe the transformation. Also everyone thinks we increased the size of our house when all we did we redecorate and re-organize our furniture based on Lisa's direction in a way that made the house flow much better. I loved working with Lisa on two projects, which entailed transforming our dining room into a home office and renovating our (30+ years old) kitchen and adjacent family room. When it comes to making decisions about decor, design or vision, my husband and I are a disaster. We consulted with numerous interior designers and contractors over the years, which sadly resulted in frustration, disappointment, wasted time and costly mistakes. In contrast, Lisa flawlessly demonstrated the ability to analyze, visualize and create what we were unable to express or describe on our own. She does this painlessly, efficiently and patiently with a huge smile and a gentle nod of understanding. She is ALWAYS available and tries to understand so that your vision comes to life in the finished project. She listens to your needs and ideas first and then works her creative magic using a collaborative approach! Apart from being warm-hearted, sincere, talented and a kind individual, Lisa made the entire process fun, relaxing and almost easy. I doubt if you will find an interior designer with better creativity and problem solving skills than Lisa. She is a joy to work with and gets the job done. She is always accessible, professional, extremely detailed, honest, and always cognizant of codes, laws, and regulations to maintain compliance. Her Internet savvy, design eye and budgeting skills helped us create the exact space we had communicated to her on day one, only better. When it comes to artistic/design talent, we relied on Lisa 100% to: 1) Help us understand our budget and develop a staged timeline, 2) Understand our (very different) tastes and come up with a design that is appealing to both of us and is "uniquely ours" - a task I thought was impossible; 3) Make sure the design is as beautiful as it is functional and able to last for years to come 4) Complete the project on time despite our crazy lives and schedules. We have been super happy with the outcome of both projects. My office is functional as well as elegant and our kitchen/family room space has morphed into a showpiece! I seriously cannot say enough great things about her work. Lisa ‘gets’ me and she ‘gets’ my aethetics. A kitchen remodel that blossomed to the whole house! We had a vision and a dream but couldn't bring it all together......especially with 2 of us trying to combine our's into 1. Lisa was able to balance our vision with what she thought was possible and do it all within budget. She completely understood the look we wanted and added a flair that we would not have thought of. We love our 'resort' home and the bonus is that we have a new friend!

I had the pleasure of working with Lisa Bell on a whole house remodel for a CEO in Aliso VIejo. In my 15 years of construction project management, rarely have I found an interior designer like Lisa that truly understands costs and can design to a budget without sacrificing style. Lisa's design acumen and attention to detail were impeccable and her ability to create stunning interiors while staying on a budget is impressive. I also appreciated that she understood the construction process and the importance of schedules and budgets. We hired Lisa Dell Design and BCS Construction to undertake a remodel of our kitchen, family room, dining room and bathroom. Lisa was able to supply us design concepts that worked perfect for the project. Once we finalized the design Lisa supplied detailed drawings and 3D renderings of the finished project.The finished job exceeds our wildest dreams and most of all it went very smoothly.
