Betty Wasserman is a consummate talented and organized professional. She has helped decorate our entire home indoors and outside to make it feel like home! I starting working with Betty a few months ago "freshening up"my house in Southampton. She has taken this house from a little blah to BEAUTIFUL. Betty is one of the most talented, and creative professionals I've ever worked with. I hired Betty to design my Watermill home over 10 years ago. While Betty excels in all aspects of design - style, textures, scale, I found that more than any other designer I have seen, Betty shines when it comes to color. She can put together room after room where colors seem to effortlessly compliment one another.
I am a type A person, and Betty was my match. While creative talents are essential in a designer, the best ones have what Betty has - a real business acumen. Betty was uber organized, methodical and every decision we made, had to make sense. I received my invoices with all pertinent information attached for future reordering and/or reference to paint colors, fabric brands, etc..
I interviewed many designers before we hired Betty, and I would say "look no further" Betty has and does it all.
On a separate note, I've seen her play tennis, and you'd also be happy to have her couple as your doubles partner as well!
Betty was a joy to work with. We had a lot of fun working together and I was beyond satisfied with the project.

Betty Wasserman was responsible for all design of our NY apartment and, as we live abroad, took ownership for having everything done during the pandemic. Besides being super professional, the teams that work with her are very responsible and careful. She was opened to discuss ideas and met our objectives. The apartment is very beautiful, all materials are top quality and we are very pleased with the result.

We were looking for a designer who had a contemporary look, but would make the place comfortable. For us, this apartment is a get away and we wanted it to be comfortable, warm and friendly. We saw Betty’s work on-line and liked it. We talked to her by phone, felt a connection and hired her to work with us.
We have not been disappointed. Our place is warm, comfortable and contemporary. We love being able to arrive here and feel immediately comfortable and relaxed. In addition, we like to incorporate art into our environment and Betty was able to pull some artists and art that was definitely to our liking and helps to make the place our home. We know what we like, but were unfamiliar with the NY resources. Betty certainly knows where to go for what she wants. I really appreciated that our first couple of sessions together were spent just looking at things so that Betty could understand what we liked and did not like.
In addition to designing and choosing furniture, Betty coordinated contractors, deliveries and installations, which all was a great relief to us.
We would highly recommend Betty.

Betty Wasserman was absolutely wonderful to work with! She is extremely professional and has a very clear vision of what she wants to achieve. When going into this project, I was looking for someone similar to me that had a clear understanding of what I wanted to accomplish and had a strong personality to help it come to fruition. I interviewed 3 or 4 different professionals before choosing Betty. I've been happy ever since and would call her in a heartbeat if you're looking for someone to design your space or home!

We are currently working with Betty in remodeling our home and have had a wonderful experience with her so far from the planning phase to execution phase. Not only is she extremely meticulous and easy to work with, Betty has a great eye for integrating colors with the furniture we’ve selected which has gotten us really excited for the end product.
From the start, she was able to quickly identify our preference in style with limited input and present options within our budget. More importantly she has the ability to drive the project forward without feeling pressure while keeping us on time and within our budget.

I had recently bought a new condo in Manhattan. Being new to Manhatttan, I was overwhelmed about how to decorate. I picked Betty because I saw her reviews, loved her portfolios, and, most of all, needed someone who knew how to help me find good Art that I could afford. It was one of the best calls I ever made. From our first phone contact I could tell that Betty was pleasant to work with, well organized and knew a lot. Through the process of redecoration she has been a Godsend. She has suggested things I would never have thought of. Her eye for color is great. She is creative but also well organized. She listened to what I wanted and together we picked out amazing art, as well as furniture, paint colors and other nenovations that make the apartment so much warmer and more comfortable, while also stunning. I highly recommend her.

Betty has the unique ability to combine striking pieces with casual ones and have them work harmoniously together in a relaxed beach house environment. Betty helped us with our beach house in the Hampton's, which turned into quite a large project, including a complete gut renovation and addition. There was a lot of work, which overlapped with our architects, and Betty was able to add a lot of value on the architectural design of the house and worked very well with the team we had in place.
Betty was fun to work with and very proactive and responsive to all our needs, concerns and wishes. Even difficult spaces, or oddly shaped rooms were improved greatly due to her ideas about form and function, and giving spaces a purpose, which could otherwise go unused, or under appreciated. We strongly recommend her!

We are happy to recommend Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors. Betty has an incredible eye which made all the difference in our major renovation of a beach house on Daniel's lane in Sagaponack, LI. We love her ability to create a combination of both style and function in every room in our home!
We especially love the kids rooms—and the kids couldn’t be happier either. They are elegant but still kid friendly and are both casual and sophisticated at the same time. Although our children are quite young, we don’t feel we will have to redo their rooms for a very long time, they can grow up in these rooms, which is really nice. The color scheme she picked throughout the entire house is perfect for us and fabrics hold well extremely well for kids.
We also love the selections of stone and tiles she picked for our bathrooms and kitchen - especially for the powder room, and overall, all the rooms in general all live well together, they are similar but different. They feel well curated, but not exactly the same, so they don’t get boring. There is a flow to the house that most every guest can appreciate and that we love with every visit.
We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

I am a Electronic Systems Designer and have been a member of Betty's "A" Team for a number of years. Her referal team consists of proven and seasoned Architects, Contractors, Consultants, Artists, Exceptional Cabinet makers and my team.
Betty's eye for detail is unquestionable . Its not always easy to balance esthetics with function but Betty has learned to listen to her clients and work hard to accomplish the task.
In today's fast moving world of electronics its important to keep up with technology to assure that the client gets ALL the benefits available today and tomorrow.
Betty has certainly showed me that she has her eye on the ball.

Betty’s ability to create a modern yet timeless aesthetic inside a home is immediately what drew me to her work. I have worked with Betty on 2 projects; one in Long Island, NY and the other in Westchester, NY. In my Long Island home, Betty created a modern and beachy vibe which lends itself perfectly to the open floor plan of the house. Though we worked on this project almost 10 years ago, it looks just as pristine and modern today as when it was originally finished. For my Westchester, NY home, Betty helped me redecorate my home, tailoring it exactly to my taste.
Throughout both processes, Betty’s professionalism was exemplified in her extreme organization of the project, her efficiency, and her artistic vision. She helped me with everything from working with carpenters on custom pieces to one-of-a-kind pillows and artwork. Betty and her awesome daughter Milly have become close friends of mine and I could not be happier with her work.

Over the past few years, I have worked with Betty on projects both in my NYC showroom and residences in CT ( beach and town) . Betty has great enthusiasm and excitement about design which is very inspirational. I also appreciate her ability to think outside the box and push the limits in order to make a concept into a reality. Her aesthetic approach is warm and comforting while at the same time modern and functional. She truly considered our lifestyle and integrated it into the design on our home projects, which is why we love the end result so much. Betty is also very sensitive to budgets and timing. I would highly recommend Betty Wasserman for any project and I hope to work with her again in the future !

Working with Betty instantly gave me piece of mind. I asked her to work on my project which was my first hair salon. She came to the space and after describing my likes/dislikes she had tons of amazing ideas. Her approach was refreshing for me because i like assertive, confident and efficient people and its hard to find.
I love the style options she gives, and wonderful design ideas.
Her ability to make things happen on time is a huge plus.
She was always available for me and kept me on target with my budget.

We had a great experience working with Betty. She designed our apartment in NYC and was organized, meticulous and easy to work with. She kept to our timeline and had an agenda at every meeting that kept the project moving quickly forward. The number of decisions to be made for our apartment was, at times, overwhelming and exhausting to us but Betty did a fantastic job in easing us through the small decision while keeping an eye on the big picture. We wanted to see a lot of choices for most of the purchases and she always managed to find a spectrum of options for us to choose from.
We had a general idea of the style we liked but beyond that, our biggest priorities were livability and durability. Between our dog and young kids, we knew the apartment had to be pretty indestructible. We constantly get compliments on how spottless and pristine our apartment has stayed - if only our friends knew how many kids have danced on our living room couches! Betty did a fabulous job of working with materials that can withstand the day to day wear and tear of young kids - leaving us with a gorgeous apartment that we can enjoy wihout ever feeling like we're slaves to our fine things!

In 2012 I represented a Japanese corporate client in need of sound professional advice on how to catalogue, evaluate, restore, and display their existing art collection within their new corporate headquarters located in the heart of New York City. Betty was chosen based on her extensive experience as a corporate art curator as well as her reputation as a highly regarded interior designer. The partnership worked wonderfully - she was able to breath new life into the the existing collection by modernizing how the art work was framed and displayed. This not only complemented the interior design, but enhanced the overall experience and added a level of sophistication to the space. The partnership was so successful that her scope of services was widened to include furniture consultation and wall coverings. Since that experience I recommend Betty to all my clients. She delivers without fail and is a master of her craft.

I have known Betty for over 20 years and have witnessed her extraordinary talents on many levels. When Betty brings clients to my studio, she knows them, understands their needs and sensibilities and I am aways happy to visit with them... it's a pleasure because our work together is treated with respect...It's meaningful to me that in these visits the three (or four) of us achieve understanding about the essential intentions and meaning of the artworks. This is important because I know that a consciousness will continue to unfold for the client through the interaction and magic of artwork carefully chosen for an exquisite space that has been created by Betty Wasserman in collaboration with her clients.

We had a wonderful experience working with Betty on our loft apartment in New York. The proof is the compliments we receive on the design and overall aesthetic of our home. Betty did a great job of guiding us to towards a wide variety of color schemes and furniture options. As we have two young children and a dog, she was also very helpful at choosing kid-friendly and dog-friendly fabrics. Her relationships with various artists were also helpful to us in choosing art to complete our home.

Betty is very talented. She works with you to figure out your needs and taste and then presents several options that she thinks will work for you. She then refers and manages several contractors and artists to implement her vision. She truly has made a difference and our home looks a lot better now. Glad to recommend her!
