About Us

With over 30 years creating luxury interiors on projects nationwide and a Bucks County home store showcasing hundreds of brands, principal designer and CEO Susan Taylor has built more than a design business. We sell style and all the details! The Bucks County design team features talents like lead designer Juliana Ferrazzi and project managers Jackie Macli and Amy Lee. The home store division staff is led by design professionals John Gibbs and Paulette Lolas. Black-eyed Susan's fresh approach and style mix takes us to client projects from the Rocky Mountains to the Carolina mountains, along with shore points from New Jersey, Naples and Boca Raton in Florida, or the posh beaches of St. Martin's or Sullivan’s Island. Our goal is to deliver a complete package while offering a true luxury experience that is equal parts professionalism and outside-the-box thinking. We work alongside each client from start to finish, transforming each space into a fresh and classic design — all with you in mind.

The Black-Eyed Susan team is enormously talented! Their designers will work with you to see your vision, or help you create one. They have access to a range of vendors at different price points and are bursting with great ideas. They have helped me transform rooms and make my home a beautiful, inviting space. I will continue to work with the BES team no matter what the project!

There are certain words that come to mind and are synonymous with design… style, elegance, glamour, sophistication, just to name a few. More importantly, design is all about trust; trust in that your space – your home will tell your story. The Design Team at Black -eyed Susan has masterfully achieved this level of competency. Throughout the many projects, which my husband and I have engaged their services, trusting in their level of expertise, we have never been disappointed. The level of detail, their understanding of our sense of what “our story” is all about has resulted in creating a space that we are proud to call “ our home” and it truly is a refection of who we are…our style…our story. Design, while it can be a an exciting and aw-inspiring process to the untrained eye, it can most certainly be overwhelming. Black-eyed Susan’s Design Team understands this feeling of being overwhelmed by, so many decisions. They listen. Their creative process lends itself to creating ideas, which are both, practical and functional and at the same time, stylish. One piece of advice, which we have come to respect and believe in is “trust in the process” and I can honestly say that we have never been disappointed with the outcomes. We always say, Juliana got it right! Simply stated BES is the BEST!

I am in love with the style and staff of this beautiful store !!! they always take the time to help me with a big design dilemma or even the simple choice of a vase!! my entire house has been transformed by their design and i absolutely love it!!! i trust their opinion and appreciate their friendship as well.

Their designers take a personal interest to get to know their clients and their personal style to develop a unique portrait of their clients home. Our designer, Juliana, has worked closely with me and my Partner to create an atmosphere that tells our story - reflects our 17-year history together, as soon as you walk through our front door. They have taken our house and made it our home.

They've helped us with three separate projects over the past seven years and every time,, they've understand us style-wise even better than we've understood ourselves. We've never been less than thrilled with the results. They are the best!

I greatly enjoyed my collaboration with Susan and her team. Susan and her assistant Juliana created a stylish design which embodies elegance and sophistication. The project was completed on schedule and within the budget specifications. Because Susan is extremely knowledgable about current trends and has such a wonderful sense of style, she was able to guide me in making excellent choices which suited the architecture of the space and made my vision come alive.
