The final result is stunning, and I have received numerous compliments from friends on its beauty. Sandra was pleasure to work with, consistently responsive to phone calls, and ensured that materials were delivered on time, keeping the project on schedule. Although I was not present for most of the construction, Sandra managed everything meticulously and kept the project running smoothly. Moreover, she saved me a significant amount of money on materials, demonstrating her dedication to looking out for her clients' best interests. I wholeheartedly recommend Sandra for her outstanding design skills and client-focused approach.

We had the pleasure of partnering with Sandra for a recent bathroom renovation. With little renovation experience-we didn’t even know where to start. She was able to create drawings to help us really visualize our new space and give us clear direction forward, next steps, time lines and aligning to get an accurate estimate from our contractor. Sandra has incredible industry connections and introduced us to vendors who were generous with their time, helpful and informative. Sandra is kind, patient and knowledgeable. She allowed us to flex our design inspiration and was a supportive resource throughout!

I found Sandra while in the middle of a kitchen remodel. I just wish I would have found her sooner! Sandra was amazing! She is an exceptional listener. She's personable and very easy to work with. She's smart, creative and was able to tune in to what we were trying to achieve. She took what was a very difficult and complicated experience and made it fun! I am so happy I hired Sandra to help me with my home renovation design. She is a joy to work with; very knowledgeable, professional and a lot of fun. She has a lot of great ideas but was very open to hearing my needs and then working together to come up with a great design plan. I gave her a budget and she was very conscientious about sticking to it. We were referred to Sandra (Blank Space Designs) through friends who had just finished a project with her. We loved her energy, positivity, realism, listening ability and vision from the very first meeting and engaged her design services for our kitchen add-on/remodel project in San Jose, California. This was our first large home project – we were like deer in the headlights, not knowing what we were doing, so we relied on Sandra from architectural stage through finishings and decorating, and she came through again and again. Sandra is very well networked and referred us to known professionals throughout the project. She worked with me on creating a detailed budget plan and finishings estimates. She wanted to be looped in to everything as she was able to catch things we would have missed, whether it was structural, or a color or a finish item. She was an ever-present sounding board to our own research and ideas. She advised on where (and how!) we could value-engineer and save money, and where we should invest a bit more for higher, lasting quality. Sandra infused lighthearted, fun, encouraging energy to all of our meetings, but didn’t hesitate to speak up when something needed to be changed or fixed. We knew she always had our back. I did much of the legwork throughout the project, but I always ran everything by Sandra. Sometimes I was on, and sometimes I was off but it was quite satisfying when I got the SSA - Sandra Seal of Approval! We completed our project in early 2024 with zero regrets, and are loving every inch of our new space! I highly recommend looping Sandra into any project you have. We had an extensive master bathroom remodel and with Sandra’s help, expertise and knowledge we were able to get the bathroom of our dreams. She had such great ideas, we also added an update to a second bath and our bonus room. With Sandra's design guidance and project management skills the process went smoothly and efficiently. Sandra helped me updated my kitchen, master bathroom, and living room. She was easy to work with and responsive. We did not replace everything in each of the rooms, but she was able to help us choose new materials that worked with existing items which made each of the rooms look updated and fresh. Our kitchen, master bathroom, and living room were previously dark and by using new materials each of the rooms are now brighter and feel larger. She was great about taking into account to the type of styles we like, ideas we showed her, and came up with great suggestions.

Sandra has done an amazing job at redesigning our place. She is very easy to work with and flexible in her approach. She has simply transformed the space exceeding my expectations.would highly recommend her.

We hired Sandra for our extensive home remodel in 2021 and she did an outstanding job! Sandra helped us update and refresh a rental. The architecture is special but the finishes were old and tired. She helped create new fresh spaces while keeping and accenting the character of the building. She did this within our modest budget. The contractor she brought on board was fantastic and super responsive to all concerns. The end result is beautiful. The timeline got a little extended but the world is upside down right now and it was over Thanksgiving and Christmas so I think they did great getting it all accomplished. Sandra is honest, positive, kind, understanding, flexible, resourceful and creative. I would work with her anytime!

From the minute that I met Sandra, it was easy to talk and work with her. She took me to a lovely shop where she had pre-selected art for my space that I fell in love with and purchased right away. The two pieces are perfect, unique and fit my style and budget. Sandra doesn't push her designs, but spends time to understand what the client wants and how to work within the budget. I give her 5 stars without hesitation. She and her team are great! My wife and I began working with Sandra about 1 1/2 years ago on an addition and remodel to an old (historic) Spanish style house in Monterey. Our architect is based in Marin, more than 3 hours from the project, and we wanted local help for the many interior design choices. Finding Sandra has been a real bright spot in the project, and her contributions have been many. At the start, she brought a critical eye to our plans and suggested a change to the interior layout, which we and the architect agreed with. Other contributions include selection of finish materials, lighting plans, color schemes, and specifying custom cabinetry. We are really pleased with how her design for the ceiling and fireplace of our family room turned out (see photos). When we had difficulties with our contractor, Sandra helped us find another one to complete this phase of the work. I interviewed a few designers before we found Sandra, she was one of the rare designers who wanted to work with us as collaborators. She is all about making her clients happy, and presents choices and advice without ego - sometimes (usually) we go with her ideas, sometimes we don’t, it’s all fine with her. I found her right away to be highly professional and responsible, she replies promptly to emails, phone calls and messages, she stays within her time estimates, and she provides accurate, itemized billing. We feel so fortunate to have Sandra’s help on our project, and recommend her highly.

We were lucky to work with a designer as talented and friendly as Sandra. She has a great eye for colors, textures, and combining styles. Sandra focused initially on material selection, but also provided guidance on all design aspects on our entire home remodel project. She performed most of the material planning, purchasing and distribution, and was even able to get us discounts on much of the items. We are so happy with how our home turned out, and owe much of it to Sandra.

Sandra at Blank Space Design’s was so helpful in getting our contractor, sub contractors and finishes organized and orderly. The companies, products and design styles she chose for us made everything come together so nicely! We love how our new house has turned out. It’s so functional, open, bright and perfect for us and entertaining. We enjoyed working with Sandra so much, we’ve added an outdoor kitchen to our project! We will have to find something else for her to do soon! She has transformed our house into a modern, inviting and beautiful home.

Sandra Blank is an excellent interior designer with incredible taste and attention to detail. Sandra helped us with an extensive bathroom remodel after a plumbing disaster. We had never worked with a designer before and was unsure of the process. Sandra asked a lot of questions about our preferences and budget, listened to our ideas and did such a great job of ensuring the design was something that we would love. The result is that we have such a beautiful bathroom, one that we couldn’t get to on our own. Sandra guided us through the renovation, coordinating and managing the entire project. This included purchasing materials, coordinating and managing the contractors, and final inspection of their work. Her knowledge and extensive experience in all areas was critical to the outcome of the renovation. Sandra is a pleasure, very professional and fun to work with. I would highly recommend Blank Space Designs! I was looking for a color consultation for repainting my living room, family room and also my kitchen cabinets. Sandra was a huge help and well worth the cost. She helped me narrow down and eventually pick the colors that I used. Sandra was easy to work with and provided a lot of good insight. She also provided a great recommendation for a painter too. I am very happy with the finished product.

Sandra designs beautiful homes and is wonderful to work with. I've been helping Blank Space Designs on their residential projects all over the bay area since 2016 and they specify many of our Porcelanosa products.

My designer listened to my concerns and likes & dislikes for my kitchen remodel. She came up with a great design for my kitchen and my budget. She gave me different ideas on counter tops instead of the regular granite choices. I was able to give her names of stones and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I love my kitchen and so do my friends and family. Definitely use her again for my bathroom remodel.

We loved working with Sandra. She took our vision and helped us nail it. We did a complete remodel downstairs from floors, re-designand structural changes to kitchen and bath. She always offered us options and worked within our budget. She is very price sensitive when shopping for products. When we didn't like something, it was not a problem. She would step in and handle the return or help us resolve the issue. When cabinet knobs were being installed, she was there to make sure they went in exactly as she wanted. She was always a phone call away. She helped us get our project done with in the targeted time! I have already recommended her to a few of my friends.
