Ms. Hong Sievert was our design consultant for both our master bathroom remodel as well as the remodeling of our main level including kitchen. She guided us through each project expertly. Hong has many wonderful attributes including: kindness, talent, empathy, flexibility, experience, and a wealth of connections. Hong is constantly learning about new and better products and services for her clients. She maintains strong connections with outstanding contractors as well as many vendors in the design space. We are so happy we had the opportunity to work with Hong from Blossom Spaces on our Kitchen and Mud room remodel. She truly gave us first class service and went above and beyond to make sure our remodel was a success, from the initial layout suggestions, to cabinet design, selection and order, helping us with appointments to select flooring, countertop, lighting and appliance companies, to answering questions from the contractor during install. Hong was called in to do a consult by the original designer I had contracted with. It was Hong's vision that made my entire kitchen remodel a success. She listened to what I wanted and gently made suggestions for how we might do things differently to create beauty and efficiency in my kitchen. She was so wonderful to work with. Hong was a fabulous help to quickly consult on a basement face lift. Her inspiration and consultation for colors, arrangement, and decor helped us move quickly to complete a space with a number of different need states and still feel very pulled together.

Hong was the reason my kitchen remodel was a success! I have a 90+ year old house and the layout presented some challenges. I was stuck on the best use of space and Hong's expertise was much needed. Her years of experience was highly evident as she worked through the various configurations and options for my kitchen. I really like that is Hong is thorough and talks thru the 'pros' and 'cons' of various solutions, but isn't pushy and has no agenda. I highly recommend her and she is currently working on my boyfriend's kitchen.

I can honestly say that we wouldn't have our beautiful kitchen today if it weren't for Hong, Blossom Spaces. My partner and I had such differences in opinions/design ideas that we went back and forth for a solid 3 years. We knew we needed a designer who could combine our different tastes. After a number of disappointing consults, we were so lucky to have found Hong! She immediately put together detailed plans and samples after discussing our needs and wants. And I'll have to say, reflecting back a year ago when we did this, we didn't make any major changes to her orig design. She really understood our vision - two different visions. We were quite indecisive and she was so very patient and always available to discuss things through with us. Quality of the cabinets was priority for my partner and Hong did not disappoint. We love our beautiful custom Kemper cabinets, with all the much needed storage solutions. She was onsite (from Kansas) on 3 separate occasions to ensure our 8 week project was progressing as planned. We will be calling Hong for our next project! In fact, we continue to run design ideas by her, from new dining table style to new window treatments. Call her and you'll understand how fantastic and incredibly talented she is!

My father previously worked with Hong at Home Depot and recommended her to design our remodeled kitchen. We didn't have much experience and were fairly unsure of what we wanted, but Hong was great at patiently guiding us along. Decisions that would've taken us forever (or worse, that we would've made thoughtlessly) were so much easier after talking with her. She is kind, very fun to work with, she works hard, and is quite funny too. We value her opinions and knowledge so much that we also asked her advice about decorating our house -- an agonizing task that she's made seem easy. Our kitchen far exceeds our expectations and we feel so lucky to have met Hong! When we are ready to remodel our bathroom, there's no doubt that we'll hire her for the job.

We met Hong in an aisle at Home Depot two years ago, and we feel very privileged to have had that chance encounter. From the first design meeting at her desk, we knew we were watching a gifted expert "work her magic" and we were fascinated at the skill she exhibited and the knowledge she shared concerning our kitchen design. Our projects are limited in scale to her capabilities, but she understands that and has no problem working within our budget and plans. Hong has designed two kitchens for us for investment properties and is now in process of helping us dream and design our new laundry room and kitchen in our own home. She brings a refreshing energy to the design process. Above all, Hong is kindhearted, and we enjoy her laid back but very professional personality as she offers new ideas and challenges our decisions. Hong has a way of getting the client to rethink the purpose for this or that, because she is always one step ahead and wants us to understand the functionality of kitchen design while dreaming the beautiful. She is never in a hurry. She listens intently to our vision for the project. She laughs with us. She makes the sometimes painstaking process of planning and design seem so easy. January 3, 2016 To Whom It May Concern: I’m writing this letter in support of Hong Anh Tran Sievert, as an outstanding resource in all facets of interior design. I was fortunate to first become connected with Hong in early 2011 when my husband, Dan, and I began considering the first of many interior design projects. In late 2010 we purchased a 97-year old home in Kansas City, Missouri’s, Brookside neighborhood. The home was an Arts and Crafts style home that had very good bones, but needed a tremendous amount of updating. We actually met first with another designer, but due to scheduling issues, Hong was the designer on duty when we came in a second time. Her openness, willingness to listen to our needs, and understanding that we were still developing a budget, a style, and timeline, were so instrumental in making our first project, the kitchen remodel, come to fruition so beautifully. From our first meeting-until the final detail was installed, Hong was available all along the way. She went way over and above what would be expected of her as a Home Depot Designer, as much of her consulting was not directly related to her Home Depot design role. She did so, I believe for many reasons, but first and foremost is her love of design. That love is coupled with a talent that I believe will allow her to work closely with people with all levels of design interest and experience. She is patient. She is a teacher. She believes in getting the best outcome with an expenditure that is commensurate with your budget, and she creatively finds way to achieve the look in your vision within those budget constraints. A number of months after the kitchen project was completed, Hong contacted us to ask if we would give permission to enter the project into the Kansas City Home & Garden magazine design contest. We worked together to write up details about the home and project, and I wasn’t surprised at all when we were notified that she had won the gold medal (top award) for our price range. We were thrilled that she was receiving that acknowledgement by the design community of Kansas City. Later, Home Depot asked us both to appear in a promotional video to be used by Home Depots across the US. Hong was being highlighted to show her creativeness, her relationship with the customer, how she works with customers to find solutions, and her approach to design. I have to say I was completely impressed that they never once told me what to say. The producer simply asked questions of us both and we answered them “off the cuff”.
