Cathy is professional, creative and very contentious about meeting her client’s needs. She truly believes that each client and each home is unique and is very intuitive on determining their individual needs and desires. Her goal is to create a home that reflects their personalities and lifestyles. Many of her clients return to her for their additional design needs over the years. Custom High-End Design $350,000 to $450,000. Complete Turnkey Renovations $125,000 to $600,000 Interior Design Services range from $150 per hour with a 20 hour minimum design fee. Overall design fee will depend on scope of work. Kitchen Renovations range $25,000 to $100,000. Bathrooms range from $12,000 to 90,000. Family Rooms $20,000 to $125,000 Custom home builder selections and finishes for spec homes $6,000 to $15,000. Project management fees not included. Estimates based on experience. Your actual costs may vary depending on the scope of your project.

I can give Cathy one of the highest recommendations you can give a designer, in two words: "She listens". We've worked with her over many years, and two designs from a previous property are featured on this website. The latest project was a complete refurb of a large condo, with the inclusion of a lot of new storage. She listened, offered us good options, followed through on our choices and managed the trades well throughout the work. It wasn't cheap or fast, but the work was excellent and we definitely got what we wanted.

This is our second time using Cathy's work. She just knows what she's doing and will listen to you so that she can have your personal style in mind when designing your space. I just trust her suggestions and I get very excited throughout each phase of the project, waiting to see the end result. She picked great materials for our curtains, awesome wall paper design and colors for our first project back in 2013. Now we moved and needed her "touch" again with colors, window treatments and built-ins. We will reach our to her again in the future to help us with other design projects. She is extremely high-quality and you get more than you ask for when you see the end result!

I very much enjoyed working with Cathy Sands and her team on the redo of my master bedroom suite (two rooms). Cathy was able to take my somewhat disjointed thoughts and preferences and mold them into great suggestions and recommendations. I have worked with Catherine Sands on several projects making drapes, throws, comforters and pillows. I enjoy working with her. She is clear and precise while at the same time being very creative. She knows what she's doing and I like working with professionals like her. I even appreciated her diagrams. I've been making pillows and draperies for 17 years and she's even taught me a few things by requesting me to make things I usually don't make. Her personality is a joy however she is very good at giving constructive criticism as well as well as taking it herself. She is not one of those designers who designs something crazy and then freaks out when told it's the wrong fabric. She thinks out side of the box but yet is very contiencious about what the client wants and figures out how they can get it. The questions below only allow me to post one project dat we have several.

I hired this firm to find me a one of a kind carpet and a Italian modern coffee table. Both were meet with excellent praise. The carpet is a work of art on my floor and the coffee table is beautiful and unique. I will hire this firm again

Blue Daze Designs has converted my house into the home I've always wanted. The kitchen is the emotional and physical center of our home. It's truly a work of art. Everyone that comes to our home is struck by the modern look, colors, materials and functionality. The same goes for the other spaces we've worked on...back bedroom and bath, half-bath, family room, dining room, master bedroom and yes, even the laundry room. We're just beginning on the living room. Cathy is blessed with an amazing sense of color and style. And she has the ability to listen so the space she designs is your space. Just a note, the project value I noted below was simply for the kitchen. It does not include all the other projects we've done together over the years.
