I have worked with Blue Ocean Design on several projects and love the team and their work. They completed two projects for me. They did a fantastic job at my beach house in the Hamptons, so I asked them to decorate and stage our condo in the city so we could put it on the market. We ended up getting a full-price offer which never would have happened without the help of Blue Ocean. The team at Blue Ocean Design worked with me to achieve my desired aesthetic. They are talented, easy to work with, and professional. I can’t say enough good things!

Terrible company ! Avoid at all costs! I hired Iris for the decoration of my beautiful penthouse , she was so bad .. she was late in ordering critical pieces , the furniture totally lacked sense of proportions . Then she threw away the boxes and I could not return and get reimbursed.. she even glued the carpet to my beautiful wood floor ! Last but not least, she took months to reimburse what she owed me . Terrible !!

Blue Ocean Design handled the design for my new construction home in Bridgehampton beautifully. Their style, taste and sense of a space is very special and stands out from cliche Hamptons style. Modern yet accessible- they have their own POV but also tailored to my individual style and lifestyle requests. I love what they suggested for paint colors, lighting, furniture and accessories. Each room they worked on was managed from start to finish and came out beautifully- I didn’t have to do a thing. I found them when I was house hunting and they had designed interiors for a show house. That was also beautiful and move in ready. They know homes and design extremely well.

Iris and her fantastic team made my long-awaited second house in Florida my dream home ! I had seen the work of Blue Ocean design over the years and just knew they would be the right fit for me. I wasn't wrong. Iris and her team collaborated with me on every aspect and helped turn my vision into reality ( even better than I imagined). Iris has impeccable taste and brings a hip yet classic style to everything she touches. Despite dealing with Covid supply chain issues , the communication was always prompt and issues seamlessly navigated. She and her team are also a delight to work with. They made what could have been a very stressful process ...fun!

Blue Ocean Design - respectively its head and heart Iris Zonlight- helped us some years ago by setting up our newly bought farm house. We were new to the Hamptons so it was great that Iris knew all the beautiful stores and antique dealers around. Iris has a wonderful taste that was shaped during her years in Europe especially South France and her now home The Hamptons. A perfect combination between sophisticated style and casual mood is the result. Every little detail fits to the bigger idea. We really love our house and enjoy every minute in it. It’s great for entertaining but also for snuggling up in an armchair with your favorite book.

Watchcase Factory Condominiums

Iris staged two of the townhouses at the Watchcase Factory in Sag Harbor Village for us, and one of these is currently in contract for sale. Another buyer of a separate townhouse chose Blue Ocean Design to stage their new home because they were impressed by the separate units staged by BOD. BOD offers reasonable pricing and is a flexible partner in the our ongoing sales process.

She was brilliant and managed to completely redecorate, de-clutter and stage my house within my timeframe and budget. It was a fabulous new look and within 3 weeks, I had an offer and acceptance. iris has a fine eye and exquisite taste and is a delight to work with.
