I highly recommend Brenda for interior design. We met at Ethan Allen. I knew I wanted two sofas and what style I wanted. What I didn't know was that to really pull my room together cohesively, was that I needed two side tables and a coffee table, new lamps, art, a rug, and the right fabrics. Her knowledge of texture and pattern and scale were immensely beneficial in helping me find the perfect items for my room. Every day, I think how much I love the room we created together.

I really can’t say enough about Brenda. I had previously reached out to my local EA store after first having moved because I wanted a nice desk for my new home, but all their suggestions just fell short somehow. In comes COVID-19 and Brenda. Somehow, she understood what I needed, sent me three options, and voila! Her first option was exactly what I was looking for and the fabric she picked out, exactly what I wanted; in fact, I’m using said desk and chair to write this review. Testimonial to the fact that not only does it look great but functional as well. Because of this experience, I’ve continued furnishing the rest of my home with her help. She listens to her clients but knows when to step in as a designer and guide you to achieve the desired results. She helped me pick out a coffee table that I never would have chosen, however, it has become one of my favorite pieces. I love when people surprise me, in a good way. My house is definitely moving in the right direction and I couldn’t be happier.

Fast forward to now and we love our new sectional. Brenda also made some other suggestions for other pieces for the future. The best thing is how accessible and friendly she is. And she is great at what she does.

Brenda is so incredible and fun to work with! She listens superbly to her clients and helps to design with their tastes in mind BUT also helps to stretch the boundaries a bit. We redid our living room to get a more cozy, library type feel and she quickly picked up on what we were looking for and helped to work in a piano that is meaningful to our family. We loved her creativity to bring out different aspects of what we had described and provided a couple of options for us to consider. We adjusted some things but by and large didn't change too much. Also, she selected a pattern for our chairs that we NEVER would have considered in 1,000 years on our own but we love it and understand why she chose it. Also, she was responsive in follow up questions over the months after the order to help give her perspective on aspects of the room that didn't necessarily deal with the parts that she designed. When we have another remodeling effort, we would work with her in a heartbeat!

Brenda redesigned our master bedroom as we just love the result! We wanted to replace our bulky, black furniture with something warmer and brighter to match our buttery yellow walls. During the process of completing a complete renovation of our kitchen and living room it became clear that we needed outside assistance with everything from wall colors, window treatments, and furniture. We had purchased furniture before from Ethan Allen so we researched each of the members of the local design team and Brenda's credentials stood out!. After an initial phone conversation Brenda made multiple visits to our home. She was diligent, willing to listen and always attentive of both my wife and my likes and dislikes. We made several visits to the store where Brenda laid out fabrics and colors often running to make changes as we desired. She didn't stop there. Even after we purchased everything she stayed in touch with us to ensure delivery was made correctly. All of our concerns were satisfied and most importantly that we were happy with the way our project turned out. If your going to do a home project don't do it without Brenda's help!!!

It was a pleasure working with Brenda. She was very professional and in spite of her heavy work schedule, she responded quickly to my emails. For our first meeting, she came to my home to assess the layout of my rooms and what my decorating taste was like. She also helped me out with furniture placement for my main rooms and where to hang a few of my wall hangings. At the store, she gave a beautiful presentation in the way of samples for upholstery, rugs, and pillow coverings (for my large sectional), taking into consideration my personal tastes. She showed me the 2 pieces of furniture (which happened to be in the store) that I needed that would complement my other decor. For the third meeting, she came back to my home, bringing the samples of colors/shades that we had narrowed it down to, in order to make the final decision, taking into consideration the lighting also. She was spot on. She pulled it all together beautifully and I'm very pleased. She also recommended lighting for my living room and kitchen. I couldn't have done it without her. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I am very pleased with the results. I would certainly recommend Brenda for interior design projects.

While I decided to wait on purchasing (due to budget concerns), I must say that this designer was personable, responsive, and interested in helping. She had fabric swatches sent in a timely manner, and was even able to (almost immediately) create a virtual chair photo with my chosen fabric. I really felt that I had my “own” personal designer working with me.

I was in the impossible situation of down-sizing and was utterly confused about how to transition my existing furniture into the new living space. Brenda offered to come to my existing home so that she could get a sense of my style and to see what furniture I had. She then accompanied me to my new but smaller home and made so many good recommendations about furniture I would want to keep. At the end of the day I really only needed a sofa for my great room and a bed for my master suite and her choices really took into account my personal style.

I have been buying my furniture and accessories from the Miller House for years. Brenda has always been very friendly yet professional. Her store has that warm and welcoming feeling. Brenda has been kind enough several times to come to my house to direct me as to where to place a piece when I didn't have room for something I couldn't live without. I live about 45 miles away from her store and she has never failed to rescue me and her ideas have always been dead on! Just today I opened the September issue of COUNTRY SAMPLER and there she was in a nine page article entitled Designing Woman showcasing her beautiful home. I think this article says it all. My design tastes are changing. I love country antiques but not mauve hearts. Recently I have been drawn to Pottery Barn items. Brenda Came out to my house and looked at how our house was decorated and listened to what we wanted. When our new furniture arrived she came out and installed everything. She used items that I already had. Some antiques and other decor items. The family room looks great. Brenda always has great ideas for design and she truly listens to what you are saying. Moving into a new home with an open concept floorplan, presented us with a challenge to achieve a coordinated color scheme. Brenda Miller did an excellent job of blending paint colors, window treatments, upholstery fabric, and decorative accents for our home. We liked that she presented three different color schemes for us to choose from, all reasonable priced. The results exceeded our expectations and we love the new look!
