Our first project with Caitlin was a small budget, redecoration of a 1920's living and dining room area in 2006. Caitlin was patient and budget conscious with this first-timer- without sacrificing her impeccable style. Caitlin advised us which pieces were worth an investment, and was perfectly on point. Nearly nine years, 3 children and 2 dogs later, we still own and cherish all of the items Caitlin chose in that first project. Our next project together was a complete remodel, down to the studs, and Caitlin worked with our architect and contractor, and us, from the very conception of the project until its miraculous completion. From this experience, I can give Caitlin the highest praise: 1) our contractor loved working with Caitlin and claims her involvement made his job easier and the end result ever so much better; 2) every day for three years I have loved our home and the details and decisions Caitlin helped us choose; and 3) we are beginning another full renovation project- something I would only have the courage to do with Caitlin by our side. I can't wait!

Caitlin has exquisite taste and has helped make our Marina house a beautiful home for entertaining and growing our family. She is honest, trustworthy, professional and thoughtful. After working with Caitlin on furnishing our home, we hired her again when we wanted to add another floor. Caitlin helped us design the layout of the new floor and worked in partnership with our architect and contractor to design a beautiful new space that felt like it had always been a part of the home. I own a fabric workroom making window treatments, pillows, cushions, etc. for designers and their clients. I have worked with Caitlin for the past 4-5 years on countless projects all over the Bay Area. Caitlin is one of the most talented designers that I have worked with. She is super easy to work with and is great at executing her vision in a seemingly seamless manner. She finds some of the most beautiful and unique fabrics to use in her clients' homes. Caitlin came to our rescue a few years ago when we moved into our first house. Besides the fact that she has amazingly good taste, she is also sensitive to working with a budget. She provided a number of ideas for each room (in different price ranges) and helped us decide where to splurge and where to save. I first reached out to Caitlin after being blown away by a friend's home in the Marina District in San Francisco. When I reached out to Caitlin, she was nothing but warm, kind and patient after realizing quickly that I was far from a design professional. Caitlin and her team designed our home (a new-build) from top to bottom and went above and beyond -- providing recommendations, sourcing and mock-ups for everything from pluming fixtures to flooring to sofas to art. I have worked with Caitlin Moran Interiors on 3 separate projects, including a complex kitchen, guest bath and outdoor cabana space. As we have what I describe as a "funky Mid Century Modern", it was important to work work with someone, who not only understood how we live, but also loved this kind of architecture. Caitlin Moran designed my West Village pre-war apartment in 2011. Her style combined mid century, asian antiques and custom furniture designs. She was also able to incorporate some of my favorite artwork into fresh contexts. The first thing my guests comment on is the striking design, the second is for a recommendation of my designer.
