I have enjoyed working with Carla for more than 10 years on several projects including design and finish elements and decor for our home in Chicago, 3 renovations on 2 vacation homes in Snowmass, Colorado, and finish and design guidance on our vacation home in Palm Springs, California. Carla works collaboratively and really listens to my thoughts and ideas, incorporating them into a cohesive, overall scheme. She is cost conscious and thorough — exploring design multiple design options efficiently so your hourly fees (which are very reasonable) is never inflated. Carla is a consummate professional and a delight to work with!

Carla is fantastic! Over the 15 years that we've worked with her, she has helped us decorate a new home, update that home over the years, and design and decorate a new second home from ground up construction. She's easy to work with, understands our needs and our style and is able to stay within whatever budget we set. She always presents several alternatives for each room in an organized way that does not overwhelm us. Every space she has helped us with is comfortable and functional and looks beautiful and finished.

In 2020, I felt the need to refresh the family room and kitchen in our 12-year-old house. I knew exactly who to call: Carla, who had created the original design and decor in 2008 when we built the house. She has impeccable taste and an eye for color, and I absolutely love working with her. Carla gets to know her clients, understands their taste, and brings ideas that are practical, lasting, and beautiful. While in 2008 she helped me design and furnish the whole house, she has remained close over the years and helped me finish little things over time. In 2020, we needed some updated lighting, new kitchen chairs and family room furniture re-upholstery, but the original plan was still classic and beautiful, as well as comfortable for our family. Carla recommended washable fabric for our sofa, which is the frequent resting place of our dog. (We love it!) She brought modern, bright ideas for lighting that changed the room without breaking our budget. She replaced old kitchen chairs with new, modern, comfortable and beautiful seating. We continue to love our forever home and will continue to call on Carla when we need to make updates.

Carla was the best. We could not have designed our home without her. She took ownership of the project and worked closely with the builder to make sure our vision was met. She has a very creative mind to design within all types of styles. Most importantly she designs within budget and stays ahead of the construction timeline. If I were to build another house I would hire her in a heartbeat.

Interior design updates remodeling

Carla is one of the most professional designers I have ever worked with. She comes up with very unique and gorgeous designs. She has helped me with deciding on paint colors, back splash, furniture, and art work placement. She will treat you like family !!! She is awesome and fun and is a bright light in the day!

She was a true partner throughout our 1.5 year project, from our initial meetings with our architect all the way through making sure the finishing touches that really brought out the best in our home were just right. Carla is very passionate about her work and makes sure her customers are thrilled with the results. Carla is an absolute pleasure to work with. We have been told that many designers have a signature design and use that design for all of their clients. Not Carla. She took the time to understand our wishes and needs and designed a kitchen that was perfect for us, all within budget. She was open to our ideas and brought them to life through her creative style and eye. We have also used her for other rooms in our house, some nearly ten years ago that have stood the test of time. We get so many compliments on our house, but the one that most speaks to Carla's talents is the one heard on a regular basis, which is that our decor seems to fit our personalities and looks as though we had a hand in its design (we didn't). Carla is someone I proudly refer whenever someone asks for an interior designer.

Carla is terrific! She helped us with a number of projects ranging from a complete gut of our kitchen to redesigning our powder room, formal spaces, choosing paint colors and furniture. Carla is creative, easy to work with and full of great ideas. She is also great at envisioning new spaces and worked closely with our contractor to design functional and beautiful ones. She is easy going and fun to work with. And she can work within a budget. I have used other designers in the past and Carla is by far the best.

Her versatility is great and she was able to brilliantly incorporate concepts that both enhance the architecture of the home while paying tribute to local beauty and design. Moreover, she was able to stay within budget and on schedule, focusing on aspects of the project that created maximum impact and value.
