Terri Carlson guided the remodel of our 27th floor condo in downtown San Diego. I have worked with design professionals on several home remodels over many years. Terri is without doubt THE BEST. Her approach to design is methodical and goal-oriented. She develops a color map with her clients as the first step in planning, adding fabric samples, tile, wood, metals, etc. The result is a cohesive design to accomplish the decorating goal - a home which reflects the clients' lives in function and aesthetics. I highly recommend Terri to anyone who wants to really work WITH a designer in an interactive way. She is a true professional and a lovely person!

I am the proud owner of the home Terri has tagged as Familyroom, Estate and Escondido. I am a pretty good DIY guy.....but simply lack the eye of a professional. Terri politely (and patiently) talked me off the design ledge and pointed me in SO many great directions. With her spatial intelligence, palette savvy, Craigslist prowess, a steer toward what I could pull off myself and a little encouragement I have a TRANSFORMED home. I'd say I've put something like $8k (including two rooms full of designer furniture) and six months of "weekend warrior" into this project and am so amazed! My only advice in working with Terri: ask her what she REALLY thinks! She sent me in directions that I hadn't thought possible and couldn't be happier. Truly a gem that respects your budget and can stretch it 10 times!

I have worked with Terri on two projects over the past 4 years. Both projects were from scratch and rebuilt every inch of the condos from the bones up. There is probably no better person to watch every penny and get your project right. Trust her. Color harmony (her biggest strength) which is key, begins with the foundation and is followed through to the finished accessories which highlight and compliment your place. Trust in her and let her create the home of your dreams.

I hired Carlson Consulting to do a makeover of my daughters bedroom. The pictures of the room are titled "Little girls bedroom" on their site. My daughter wanted a princess room and Terri nailed it. She found the headboard and an antique vanity on Craigslist that were perfect for her room. She antiqued a custom lamp, made custom pillows and even hand beaded a duvet cover. She is a consummate professional that has a keen eye for detail. My daughter absolutely loved the room makeover and the look in her eyes during the reveal was priceless. I would highly recommend her .. you won't be disappointed.
