We are so pleased with Cari at Carrington Design. We did a remodel on our cabin and Cari did a wonderful job. Her design ideas were amazing and I am so grateful for her help! She was always available to answer my many questions, so patient with the delays we experienced (not on her part), and had so many great suggestions. My project would not have turned out well without her! We can't say enough how pleased we are with her work!

Carie was very prompt and followed up with every move being made by the contractors. She supervised our job in a very competent way since we were not here to watch over anything.

Cari is a delight to work with and very talented. One of the many things we appreciate about her is that she is flexible in her design style and can adapt her style to the situation. We purchased a home that had good bones but looked like a city house despite being on top of a mountain. We met with Cari and talked about what we wanted our new home to look and feel like, and Cari listened carefully. She was very helpful in guiding our choices so that we used our budget in the most important ways. This project was a full remodel, outside and inside. Cari made suggestions for colors and styles that we would not have considered, which in my opinion is why a designer is important to acheiving your goals. We found ourselves saying "ask Cari" about nearly every decision we made in the house because we learned to absolutely trust her judgment. The result is a home that looks NOTHING like the original and we love it! When friends see before and after pictures they can't believe it's the same house. When people visit, they tell us the home is not only beautiful, but warm and welcoming...it is a family home. We will continue to work with Cari as we move forward with a bathroom remodel and highly recommend her to anyone considering a new build or remodel.

I recently had the pleasure to work with Cari of Carrington Design on a new home build and could not be more pleased. She is professional, hard working & always responds in a timely manner. Cari was able to help with everything… from tweaking the layout, coordinating exterior components and of course interior design. I have worked with Cari for 4 years on our 40 year old home remodel. This project was a total gut with wall removals, door and staircase changes, etc. She did it all: helped draw up the floor plans (including a new layout for not only the interior of our house, but also our backyard, patio and outdoor kitchen); she helped with decisions on lighting, flooring, plumbing, kitchen and bath surfaces, paint. She was involved in every step. Cari was instrumental in furniture layout and selection as well as drapery, rug, lamp and linen selections. She was able to find those elusive subcontractors as well as local artisans when needed; she arranged and was present for all installations. Her creative genius is amazing! She is skilled and professional in her decisions. She had the ability to listen to my rambling vision and make it happen in a fabulous way. She has been a joy to work with. Her suggestions are always spot on. Her charges are reasonable. Her advice is practical. She is very responsive to texts or emails and reflects a positive outlook on life. I highly recommend her for your next project.

At the height of the pandemic in 2021, we moved from out West to a small mountain town in NC to a home in desperate need of updating. I had ideas but didn't know where to begin. On top of that, it was the week before Thanksgiving! I decided to reach out to designers in my area. My first appointment was with Cari of Carrington Designs. She came to our home and listened intently to my ideas and made suggestions. She asked if it was OK to get her painter and flooring subs in for quotes. She called them and they were there within 30 minutes. By the time she left, a couple of hours later, we had a working plan, and I knew I'd found the right person. Cari is personable, very bright, extremely talented, energetic, detail oriented and quick on the "uptake!") She is well respected by all of her subs in our area and they enjoy working with her. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Cari communicates well and kept me up to date by text and e-mails and was always available if I reached out with questions. Since the initial update of our kitchens and living areas, she's returned to update our bathrooms as well. I highly recommend Cari. You won't be disappointed. 2022 1st PROJECT: removed tile counter tops and replaced with quartz; tiled back splash; new kitchen appliances; painted all interior walls and trim; replaced upstairs master counter top and sink/faucets; replaced all downstairs living area flooring and custom black-out lined drapery for all bedrooms. 2024 2ND PROJECT: Downstairs Master bath- remove acrylic tub and replace with accessible tiled shower including grab bars and hand shower, replace counter top with quartz and new sink; replace tile flooring. 2024 3rd PROJECT: Upstairs Master bath-replace acrylic shower with tiled shower, install grab bars and hand shower, replace tile flooring, replace vanity faucets.

Cari was a pleasure to work with on my projects. She listens, makes creative suggestions, manages the projects with workers, keeps you informed, and responds quickly to all communications. I am happy to recommend her to you for your remodeling projects.

My husband and I worked with Cari Liddle of Carrington Design to furnish our vacation home in the NC mountains. Cari was a thorough professional throughout the entire process - from the initial proposal stage to ordering the items and then managing the receiving and installation. At the outset, Cari met with us to discuss our design needs and the "look" we were going for. She then prepared proposals for every room in our home, including furniture items, rugs, lamps, pillows and other design accessories. The proposals includes pictures and fabric samples. She then placed the orders, handled the receipt of all items, and gave us regular updates along the way. Once we were ready for the install, Cari arranged for & oversaw the installation process. Cari has an amazing sense of design and we are so pleased with how each and every room in our house turned out. She is also very easy going and fun to work with. Thank you Cari!
