Cecily is the first interior designer we’ve worked with formally, and I must say we greatly enjoyed the experience. After buying a new house, we felt the need to design out our main living areas and contacted Cecily and her team for an initial consult. I was amazed at how quickly she pinpointed a mutual area of taste and aesthetic between my wife and I, based off of very little information and effort provided on our part. The process by which Cecily works is super organized, allowing time for the usual pain points (delivery delays and/or defects/malfunctions), making sure that all items were accounted for and in storage ready for a seamless and quick install. The contractors and builders her team worked with were extremely professional and delivered a high attention to aesthetic detail and build quality. After enjoying our living area spaces for some time, we recently re-approached Cecily to redo two of our bathrooms. We had complete trust in her team to execute based off our initial experience, so were able to give even more creative freedom for her to continue to build upon the newly designed living areas. We have now somewhat run out of areas in our home for Cecily and her team to design, but we will definitely work together again in the future and we can’t recommend her team highly enough. To say our family has enjoyed our home more since the redesign is an understatement, and couldn’t be happier with the results and are truly thankful for the creative collaboration.

I am a general contractor and had the opportunity to work with Cecily on the remodel of a custom home in the Bay Area. From the perspective of a builder she is absolutely wonderful: Cecily is very organized and can process a lot of information quickly, in turn, there wasn't one delay caused by lack of timely specifications or ordering of furniture/fixtures. She also has a nack for organizing the information in a simple manner which was very helpful to the superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers. My client (a homeowner who was extremely busy) also found Cecily to be enjoyable to work with - she knew that Cecily was taking care of the design details and was purchasing furniture and other finish items in a timely fashion which put her at ease. Finally, her sense of design was impeccable - I would happily hire Cecily for interior design on my own home.

I had an excellent experience with Cecy J Interiors. Cecy was very easy to work and was always on time and was never anything but professional. I was not sure about what to do with the master bedroom and Cecy really helped guide the project. Her ideas were well thought out and and she was able to help make me decisions. The room is gorgeous and everyone LOVES it. I cant wait to work with Cecy again.

After meeting with me at my house to listen to the history of the house and the goals for our space and after seeing my very eclectic Pinterest board, she somehow managed to create the perfect design for us on the first try. She and her team executed our designs flawlessly. She quickly and professionally resolved any problems that arose through the install process and she's a joy to work with. I used Cecy J Interiors to do the interior design of my remodeled childhood home (breakfast room, family room, dining room, living room, master bedroom, kids' rooms). Cecily and her team were fabulous from the start. While I appreciate design, I am not gifted in design and so I handed the reins to Cecily. Cecily met with me to assess my taste and then came to me with recommendations of how to furnish our home. Once the decisions were approved by me Cecily and her team handled the ordering, delivery and installation of the furnishings. Cecily also picked paint colors as well. Interior design is a daunting and overwhelming task for me, but Cecy J Interiors handled everything flawlessly. I'm SO thrilled with the finished product and it came out better than I could have imagined. Cecily is a perfect blend of flexible and willing to work with your style, but then pushing you to try something different or new that as a professional she knows will be perfect. Everyone that has come to see the new house has been very impressed with her work and has given us compliments on our choice of Cecily for our designer.

I worked with Cecy J designs to remodel my family, kitchen, and foyer areas. From the start of the project I appreciated Cecily's professionalism and attention to detail. Cecy is very transparent about how she charges and how she works which make the process relatively stress free. She is a great listener and really works to understand your family's style and needs. We have 2 young boys and while I wanted to transform our home into a more sophisticated, adult space, I also needed for it to be practical. She executed perfectly. I should also mention that Cecy was great working with me through my budget. She was willing to think creatively about how to make my budget work…despite my expensive taste! I highly recommend Cecily and her team to make your house a home! We will work with her again for sure.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Cecily and her team. Cecily decorated our living and family room and it couldn't have turned out more lovely (let's just say I cried on reveal day). From the beginning of the process to the end, she was professional and extremely prompt in answering every question we had. Her eye for pattern and design is amazing. Cecily made our home a reflection of our family and personality. We will definitely work with her again on future projects.

Cecily has tremendous talent! We hired her to design and install multiple rooms in our new home. She delivered an amazing final product and exceeded our expectations. Cecily did a great job of nailing our style and also taking us out of our comfort zone to discover and try new things. People that come into our home are very impressed with her work. Cecily was outstanding - I have referred her to a gazillion people. We started out with what I thought was the perfect mode for our house. Ceily, very politely, pointed us in a slightly different direction and she was completely right. She has a fantastic sense of style and did a wonderful job incorporating our initial view with what she thought worked better with the flow of the home. In the end, it turned out beautifully and we constantly receive compliments on everything from the furniture to the small details she insisted we incorporate. I'd hire her again in a second!

We undertook a monumental move from a small condominium in San Francisco to a new house in San Diego, and were overwhelmed by how to get our house ready and decorated while starting our new life in a new city. This is where Cecily comes in! She's absolutely amazing!!! She is extremely talented and has such a natural eye for interior design/decorating. She works very close with you to find the right touch that works for you and understands your needs. She first helped us arrange our existing furniture and then selected new pieces for our new house. She ran through helpful exercises with us to rethink the way we had setup different rooms and helped optimize the use of space. She chose great new furniture and accessories that worked with our budget and added color and character to our place. Every time someone new comes to our home we get so many compliments and are always asked who the designer was. 5 stars isn’t enough to describe my experience with Cecily. She's always friendly, responsive, enthusiastic and professional. I can't wait to work on our next project with her!! I highly highly recommend her!
